  Amazing experience! The cool acoustics and history were well worth the tour. Haggling with the several guides is important and they gave us the best price (and best tour)! Request Russell - he knows it all and speaks excellent English.

  My trip to Chichen Itza was amazing. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Mayan history. His stories made the ruins come alive and made the experience truly unforgettable.

  Russell was such a fun guide through our walk of these amazing ruins. He answered all our questions and provided rich historical insight on the purpose and use of ancient city of Chichen Itza. The acoustics of the ruins and the "basketball" game were our favourite. Definitely recommend getting a tour guild while you visit the ruins. Would advise getting to the site early and just waiting in line to get your entry ticket pay a lot less than if you do it online.

  Russell was the best tour guide I have had. He took the time to explain every single bit of information and had so much patience with our questions. He took amazing photos of us and made us feel so welcomed. You can tell he truly enjoys what he does and has such passion for the history of Chichen Itza.   We had an absolutely amazing experience in Chichén-Itzá, thanks to our exceptional guide, Russel. From the beginning, he demonstrated deep knowledge of the Mayan history, architecture and archaeological details of the site. Each explanation was clear, engaging and full of curiosities that made the visit even more enriching. He was able to perfectly balance historical information with mythology and cultural aspects, conveying everything with passion and respect for the local heritage. In addition, he was extremely attentive, patiently answering all our questions and adapting the pace of the tour to our needs. The visit to the archaeological site was, without a doubt, much more significant and memorable due to the professional and charismatic conduct of the guide. I highly recommend the Russel guide to anyone who wants an authentic, educational and unforgettable experience in Chichén-Itzá! Ah, another important detail: he takes photos with excellent angles 😉
