5.00This tour was awesome! It became a private tour due to our daughter requiring a car seat. We saw eagles and had many stops for picturesque scenery. It was a great day!

4.00Nice experience, driving around in an old bus and multiple stops aimed at seeing wildlife. Especially Chilkoot river & lake I found beautiful places and very nice to see brown bears in the wild.

5.00This turned out to be one of the best guided tours that we have ever been on. Katherine guided our small group around Haines and out by a river where brown bears and eagles were plentiful! Her love and knowledge of nature shows through her exuberance as she explains facts about the wildlife in that area. This tour is well worth the money!

5.00I love taking Viator tours. Their buses are way smaller than the ones used by the typical cruise excursions, so you get a much more personal experience. The guy doesn’t have to be afraid to jump off the scripted tour when something amazing is happening. And that’s exactly what happened on our tour! We took the chill Chilkut Wilderness tour in Haines, Alaska Rainbow Tours. Our guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. We passed so many sea birds and even involved eagles. Then we got to the perfect spot. A rapidly running stream filled with salmon. Along came a gorgeous, juvenile, brown bear, who was frolicking in the stream, looking for the perfect fish. He strolled back-and-forth right in front of us for more than 20 minutes, just posing for our pictures. You could not beat that!

5.00We had an awesome day my wife and I and another couple was with us. Karla was our guide done an awesome job, giving us the history of the area got some great photographs of the lake and the highlight of the trip was getting to photograph a brown bear with her Cubs.

5.00Great guide, persistent in trying to help us find our bears! Saw eagles, sockeye beautiful red salmon. Mom & 4 cubs playing in the water!
Fantastic and would recommend it to everyone that wants an amazing experience.

5.00This was the best adventure that we had done the whole time we were away and it was because of our guide Garrett . He was so passionate about his job and made our experience fantastic as well as seeing bears and cubs. We felt safe and the knowledge he shared made it even better.

5.00A lot of great information along with some animal sightings. Animal and bird sightings are never a guarantee and we knew that going into it. We were fortunate enough to see brown bear, bald eagles, and scoters. We also learned a lot about the local area and saw hanging glaciers and learned a bit of geology, history, flora, and fauna. We felt fortunate to have Chad as our guide.

5.00Our nature tour in Haines was absolutely amazing! Garett, our guide, was wonderful—knowledgeable, respectful of nature, and clearly passionate about the wildlife and environment. He made the experience both fun and educational. We had the incredible opportunity to see bears and eagles up close, while also taking in the breathtaking beauty that Alaska has to offer. Garett’s insights about the animals and their habitats really enriched the tour. This was a highlight of our trip, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Haines!
