Chinese Kung Fu 功夫 is a distinctive part of traditional Chinese culture with a long history and great popularity. Most of people may have become acquainted to Chinese Kong Fu through world-renowned Kung Fu movie stars like Bruce Lee, Jet Li and Jackie Chan, or through action cinema like Kung Fu Panda.
For the Chinese, Kong Fu means much more than a system of fighting techniques. Aside from its function in offense & defense, Kung Fu has a considerable role to play in moral cultivation, body building, and aesthetic appreciation.
In this class, practitioner will learn:
> Basic Kung Fu training; stances, kicks, punches
> Kung Fu five stance fist form
> Joint-locking techniques
> Self-defend techniques

5.00Don't let his good English and composed look fool you, Master Eric is the real deal - a martial artist who has gone full circle. The right calluses in the right places, the stamina to do and hold moves that would put even the most athletic to shame. Even his basic demos got others to stop and watch. My husband and I have a different martial arts background, yet understood that Master Eric had gone from traditional student, to fighter, to teacher while sharing his love and dedication for this craft. Our novice moves must've had a 100 things to fix, yet he focused on imparting to our group of 3 a basic understanding of the philosophy and moves behind Kung Fu. We ended the session with a Tai Chi treat :) The highlight was seeing my little one obsessed with horse and resting stances, doing them afterwards to get strong legs! I highly recommend this experience, for families and individual martial arts lovers. We'll do it again next time we're in Beijing

5.00It was one of the most beautiful experiences in my entire life. As a kung fu student, it was a real pleasure for me to meet M°Liu and learn from him. From the basics to some more difficult technique, M°Liu took me into his world. He showed me the path to become stronger on the inside and yet stay soft on the outside... a very brilliant man and Master. I am really so greatful for his teachings. As I said, it was really incredible!

5.00We had a great experience at the kung fu course. Our kung fu master waited for us in time in front of the temple of Heaven area. We went inside the area and performed the course in the shade of some trees. We did not only learn the kung fu movements but also received information about its history and how it is related to Taoism. We enjoyed the experience very much.

5.00We got an inspiring young teacher that practiced kong fu for 17 years. She was VERY good at explaining and showing the movements. Even though almost no english was used the comunication was excellent! The movements of kong fu that we learnt is also a very good exercise for your leg muscules. Be prepared for that 😁 . We are very impressed, and recommend this class! ( it is better than any gym 😀 ) Our teenagers also enjoyed it.

5.00For my son it was an absolute highlight: Kung fu lessons in the beautiful park with information on philosophy and a patient and very dedicated master. He would repeat that if he visited Beijing again.

5.00Keeping the interest levels of adults through 6 years old is no easy task but our guide knocked it jour of the park! He was fun, engaging and attentive to the whole of the group. Must do on trips!
