Departing from Victoria Falls, this full-day safari adventure takes you across the border into Botswana’s Chobe National Park—world-famous for its large elephant herds and exceptional wildlife viewing. The day combines a river safari and a land game drive, giving you the best chance to see elephants, hippos, crocodiles, lions, buffalos, and a variety of bird species in their natural habitat.

Overview:

Hotel pick-up in Victoria Falls between 7:00 AM and 7:15 AM

Drive to the Kazungula border and switch to a Botswana-registered safari vehicle

First activity: 3-hour Chobe River boat cruise with excellent wildlife viewing along the riverbanks

1-hour lunch break at a local lodge or restaurant

Second activity: 3-hour guided game drive in Chobe National Park

Around 4:00 PM, return to the Kazungula border, switch back to the Zimbabwe vehicle

Hotel drop-off in Victoria Falls in the early evening

Here are some of the notable attractions and experiences that people can see in Chobe National Park: Big Four: Chobe is home to a significant population of the "Big Five" – lions, elephants, buffalos, and leopards. While rhinos are not as commonly seen due to conservation efforts, the other members of the Big Five are regularly spotted during game drives. Chobe National Park is also a paradise for bird watchers, with over 450 bird species recorded. The riverbanks and wetlands attract a variety of water birds, including fish eagles, kingfishers, and storks.

Amazing!!!! Why does this company only have one review?! This was an incredible day trip! We were visiting from the states and we were staying in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. They picked us up in 2 vans since we had 8 people and drove us to the border of Botswana . There, they waited on us to go through and get our passports stamped. Someone else from their company picked us up on the other side and drove us about 20 minutes to the area where the animals are. The experience was incredible! I believe the land safari was about 3 or so hours and our guide did everything that she could to find as many animals as possible. Note, there are no restrooms so be sure to use it when entering the park area. After the land safari they drove us to a hotel that served an excellent lunch. We were able to eat and use the restroom and then we began our water tour. I think we loved the water tour the most! We got so close to elephants and saw hippos and crocodiles. Our guides were wonderful and so was the experience. I highly recommend this company and booking this safari! If I ever go back, I’d book this experience with this company again.
