Zambezi National Park

Just outside Victoria Falls, you’ll skirt along the edge of Zambezi National Park — a stretch of wild beauty hugging the mighty Zambezi River. It's a quieter, less commercial reserve compared to Chobe, but don’t let that fool you — it’s home to elephants, buffalo, giraffe, antelope, and the occasional lion or leopard. The road you’re on actually cuts right through the park — so eyes peeled! You might just spot wildlife crossing. The riverine scenery here is golden, with mopane woodlands, sandbanks, and baobabs that seem to whisper old stories.

Chobe National Park

Welcome to Chobe National Park, Botswana’s oldest and most biologically diverse park — and without question, one of Africa’s great wildlife destinations. Renowned for its massive elephant herds, Chobe is where the river draws life to its banks like a magnet. At sunrise or sunset, you'll see elephants bathing, buffalo gathering, and hippos grunting in the shallows. The Chobe Riverfront, in particular, is a photographer’s dream — wide, open views with dramatic skies and constant movement. Beyond elephants, the park is home to lion, leopard, sable, giraffe, crocodile, and over 450 bird species.
