Chocolate Bar Making
York is home to some of the world's most famous chocolate bars. Join us in our academy and learn how to create your very own chocolate bar. You will discover our cocoa origins, we will show you how to temper chocolate, and you will experiment with different flavours to perfect your masterpiece! Once the bars have set, you will package your creations to be enjoyed at home.
Who is it suitable for?
Perfect for chocolate lovers of all ages and abilities who want to learn more of the secrets to create their own gorgeous chocolates at home. Please note that we recommend that children under 13 years accompanied by a full paying adult participant
Please note: During this workshop participants are able to work with their own choice of chocolate and ingredients. This workshop is suitable for participants with special dietary requirements, but please do contact our team for any specific needs.

5.00I learned so much about chocolate in a small group setting. The teacher was friendly, knowledgeable and let us experiment with our chocolate as much as we wished! I would recommend this for families with children that are older, maybe preteen and above.

5.00You don’t just learn about chocolate—you get to experience making it firsthand. With only four of us in the group, the experience felt personal and hands-on. We got to choose the type of chocolate and toppings to create our own custom bar to take home. The guide was friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time. The entire experience lasted just over 30 minutes, with an additional 30 minutes for the chocolate to set.
