- The only round trip, one day tour from Florence to all five Cinque Terre villages

- Explore the Italian Riviera and enjoy spectacular coastal views

- A scenic boat ride along the Cinque Terre coastline (end March to end October only - weather permitting)

- Tour is only in English (not different languages contemporarly) to ensure maximum quality and customer service

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness

Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately.

Suitable walking shoes are mandatory for those doing the hiking – no flip-flops. Suggestions: walking boots or sneakers, closed toe shoes with non-slip soles.

If you want to swim during free time, please remember to bring your own towel and swimwear.

On rare occasions the boat ride will stop operating due to bad weather or strong winds. It is beyond our control so no refunds or discounts will be issued.

In case of unexpected closure of the paths for unforeseen events, alternative routes will be taken instead for those doing the hiking

A large amount of walking is involved for those doing the hiking. You must be of average fitness and be able to keep up with the rest of the group.

Due to uneven surfaces, we cannot accept anyone with walking difficulties, below average fitness, or young children.

Minimum age is 8 years.

This was a long but fabulous day. Our two guides from WalkAbout Tours were exceptional. They were excellent communicators and did a great job keeping the group together (through multiple boardings and disembarkments on the trains - no easy task!). They were fun and knowledgeable about the area. Cinque Terre was amazing - each town better than the next … and then the whole trip was topped off with a ferry ride back to the town where our bus was waiting for us. It was a perfect day which I’d highly recommend!

We hsd to pull out on the morning of the tour as one of us had gastro advised operator at 6am iloffered doctor's note from 10am appointment aaked for a credit of our $NZ500 refused so what you should know is that they expect ill prople to Join the tour and spread their germs we have taken 6 viator tours in the last year the first we have had to cancel I bet this review is never published!
Skip this and tour on your own too many towns for one day

We honestly tried to do way too much in one day and ended up spending most of the day on the bus or waiting in lines for trains. Every time we got to a town we have like 15 min to walk around and it was time to go again. I would have preferred to just coordinate going to cinque terre myself and going to 2-3 of the 5 towns so i could actually enjoy my day. The tour guides did their best despite insane crowds and lines for the trains but i didn’t learn anything particularly insightful to make the tour “worth it” for the price. Lunch was very bad it’s an extra $35 per two people for an app and main - the restaurant is in a beautiful location but was a total tourist trap. Honestly I’d use this tour to get to cinque terre then leave the tour and do your own thing. Also the boat ride was really just a ferry ride that you can easily book outside of this tour if you opt to do it yourself. I was pretty disappointed and shocked by almost only positive reviews. I will say if the 3 tour guides, Otto was the most informative and fun he did a great job which is why i gave this 3 stars instead of 2.

It was a fantastic day. A lot of walking but Joanne and Alessandro were wonderful. They had everything mapped out and we worried about nothing. Highly recommend.
