- The only round trip, one day tour from Florence to all five Cinque Terre villages

Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately.
Suitable walking shoes are mandatory for those doing the hiking – no flip-flops. Suggestions: walking boots or sneakers, closed toe shoes with non-slip soles.
If you want to swim during free time, please remember to bring your own towel and swimwear.
On rare occasions the boat ride will stop operating due to bad weather or strong winds. It is beyond our control so no refunds or discounts will be issued.
In case of unexpected closure of the paths for unforeseen events, alternative routes will be taken instead for those doing the hiking
A large amount of walking is involved for those doing the hiking. You must be of average fitness and be able to keep up with the rest of the group.
Due to uneven surfaces, we cannot accept anyone with walking difficulties, below average fitness, or young children.
Minimum age is 8 years.

Your journey from Florence to the Cinque Terre starts by coach, where you can relax as your guide shares stories about the area. You'll hear tales about the Tuscan city of Lucca and its famous resident Puccini and see the Carrara marble quarries from the distance before learning about the Cinque Terre and its five fishing villages—Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Monterosso and Riomaggiore—that form the national park. Once you arrive in La Spezia, your expert tour leader will be there to guide you through the next part of your journey. Following their helpful instructions and insights, you’ll make your way to board the train and continue your adventure.

5.00Cinque Terrre (with hiking) was a great day trip from Florence. Our guides for the day were Coco and Angie, and they were very attentive and informative! They were very clear with their directions and answered all questions asked. They were both very friendly and pleasant, and kept us company throughout the day. Would totally recommend this tour! Just bring cash for potential boat transportation and lunch.

5.00Book it! This excursion was one of the highlights from my time in Italy. Our guide, Alessandro, was amazing - very clear about meeting times, how to get around Cinque Terre, his recommendations, and history of the area. The villages themselves are amazing with something to do in every one. I added on the hiking option which I would 100% recommend. The views from the trail are breathtaking and I didn't find it to be too difficult! Here's some advice from my time on the tour: - Even if you don't add on the hiking, the Cinque Terre are physically demanding. The reason you can see all the gorgeous buildings is the steepness/quick rises in elevation. Be prepared for lots of walking and lots of stairs! - Being euros! Alessandro got us a 15 euro lunch of seafood and pasta which he collected on the bus there and there was an option to pay 15 euro to take the boat back to the first village (a very relaxing end to the day). - Our tour ran closer to 14 hours so include that in your planning. - Try the montorossino torta from Laura's at Monterosso!!! Overall it was an absolutely incredible experience. I could not be happier!

5.00I would highly recommend this tour. Joanne, our guide, with the help of Angela, took excellent care of us always making sure everyone was accounted for and was comfortable. They were very knowledgeable about the area and gave great recommendations for places to try in the different towns. The tour ran promptly with a comfortable drive there and back thanks to our driver.

5.00Joanna is an incredible tour guide. She is so good at explaining things, whether it's interesting facts about the area, roadside attractions, or where the bathroom is for the fifteenth time. She is very clear in her directions and will repeat them as many times as needed for the bad listeners. She is so patient and kind and truly seems to love her job and take pride sharing the beauty of Italy. I'll also say several members of our tour group seemed to need quite a bit of extra attention and she took it all in stride with a smile on her face, providing information expertly and with reassurance. I hope you know what wonderful tour guides you have and the extreme amount of care they provide, even when it's difficult! The tour itself was great too, just *enough* walking in my opinion, and ample opportunity to explore each stop. Would definitely recommend!

5.00Jerry was a fantastic tour guide! He was very knowledgeable during the tour - not just the history and what we were seeing - but also restaurant and gelateria recommendations. It is a long day but the tour is well paced with plenty of time to explore. Strongly recommend. Cinque Terre is beautiful.

5.00Joanne was a wonderful guide! The tour is a bit complex as it requires the coordination of a group of people on and off of trains throughout the day, but it was handled very professionally and effectively by Joanne, who made sure everybody was present and accounted for while giving us the freedom to explore and enjoy.
