Each Boston Whale Watching Cruise is narrated and guided by a naturalist from the New England Aquarium. One of the whales you're likely to spot during a Boston Whale Watching Cruise is the humpback. These Northern hemisphere humpbacks reach an average length of 50 feet, and a weight of about 37 tons! With the data collected on each cruise, the NEAQ is able to further their understanding of whales and their world. And, their presence on board ensures that your whale watch will be an exciting and educational trip! The catamarans feature outside decks for optimum viewing capability. Inside you will find climate controlled cabin space with cushioned seating, tables, state-of-the-art audio-visual, and a galley offering snacks and beverages for purchase.

The scientists and crew were very passionate about the animals, and that came through during the tour. They were very knowledgeable with an injection of humor, albeit a little bit on the corny side, but enough to make one smile. We had the privilege of seeing a pair of humpbacks during our time in the feeding grounds and witnessed a fluke. They are truly remarkable animals.

My problem is with Viator app as they won’t reschedule my cruise and I am out $160. I called ahead of time but boat couldn’t be held and not I can’t rebook. I have used this platform for 10+ years and my first ask is a denial.

Not enough seats. Long day to stand most of the time. Luckily there were two whales out there. Great naturalist. Staff was busy talking rather than waiting on people. Some food and drink to hold u over.

Big group, no frills tour boat. Get there early to get better seating as it fills up very fast. Actually seeing the whales up close was absolutely amazing and unforgettable. The crew was super friendly and available to answer any and all questions.
