City Sightseeing London on our Hop-on Hop-off Bus tour will be the best way to explore the capital of England with the rich history and culture. Take in the views and visit iconic sites like Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London at your leisure.
We have selected key tour stops to allow you to see all the sites London has to offer in touching distance. From The Shard, to Big Ben to Oxford Street, we cover all the best places in London. With our 24, 48 and 72-hour tickets, we even offer a free river cruise to explore London by water as well as other exciting inclusions (excluded in the 1-Day Today Ticket).

Red Route - first tour at 8.30am, last full tour at 7:30pm, frequency is every 7 - 12 minutes. Full loop duration - 150 minutes
Red Route audio guide languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Russian, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese and Arabic
Green Route Shuttle: first bus at 9:20am, last bus at 5:20pm. Buses run every 30 minutes. Duration - 80 minutes
Green Route audio guide languages: English, French, Spanish, German and Italian
Blue Route - first tour at 8:45am, last full tour at 5:25pm from Stop 19. Duration - 60 minutes. Frequency is every 20 - 30 minutes

Customers can start their tour at any of the stops along the routes. Stop 1 on the Red Route and Green Shuttle Service is Belvedere Road
Stop 11 Buckingham Palace is closed every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11am - 12pm due to the Changing of the Guards
Mobile and printed paper vouchers are both accepted on this tour and can be accepted at any of the stops along the routes. Vouchers can be used any day within 12 months of travel date selected at check-out
Stop 10 Horseferry Road is currently closed. The nearest stop is Stop 9 Westminster Pier
24-hour ticket includes a one-way cruise between Westminster Pier and Tower Pier. You can start the cruise from either pier. Departs every 40 minutes. Duration: 35 mins approx. First departure (both piers): 10am. Last departure (from Tower pier): 6:55pm. Last departure (from Westminster): 7:20pm. You will be given your cruise ticket when you redeem your voucher on the bus
48 and 72-hour tickets include a same day return trip to and from Greenwich Pier. Departs every 40 minutes. Duration: 35 minutes approx. First departure to Greenwich (from both piers): 10am. Last departure to Greenwich from Westminster Pier: 4pm. Last departures from Greenwich to Westminster Pier: 5:50pm. You will be given your cruise ticket when you redeem your voucher on the bus
T15 Routemaster Heritage Route (included in the 48 and 72-hour tickets only): Buses depart from Trafalgar Square/ Charing Cross Stop F. Departures every 30 minutes from 9:30am - 5pm. Heading west, buses depart from Tower Hill/ Tower of London Stop TA every 30 minutes from 10:30am - 6pm
Night Tour (included in the 72-hour ticket only): Operates daily at 7:30pm, 8pm, 8:30pm, 9:15pm, 9:45pm and 10:20pm (April - September). Operates daily at 7:30pm and 9:20pm (October - March). Departure Stop: Outside Green Park Station

Please note, Stop 17 on the Red Route is temporarily closed due to roadworks. The nearest alternative pick-up point is Stop 18 Marble Arch (Speakers' Corner)
2.5-Hour Express Panoramic bus tour (if option is selected): includes a 2.5-hour panoramic single loop of London only, with no hopping off. Every seat on our top deck offers 360-degree views of London's top sights. You'll be treated to perfect shots of London's skyline with nothing in your way and informative audio guides point out histories, secrets, and the city's lively spirit. You can start your journey at any of our stops on the Red Route. Please note, this is not a hop-on hop-off service. Buses run every 15 minutes. First departure from Stop 1 at 8:45am. Last departure from Stop 1 at 5pm
Saturday 8th November (Lord Mayor's Show): Stops 2, 3 and 4 will be affected. Nearest pickup for Stops 3 and 4: Stop SG - Millennium Bridge. Delays are expected on the rest of the route due to the parade
Sunday 9th November (Remembrance Day): Stops 23, 23 and 25 will be affected. Nearest pickup for Stops 23 and 24: Stop 9 - Westminster Pier. Nearest pickup for Stop 25: Stop 1 - Belvedere Road. Delays are expected on the rest of the route

1.00Horrific experience. Never again. Huge waste of money. Confirmation email no information on location or itinerary. Had to call to get itinerary emailed. Had to ask hotel which stop closest-“Hyde Park Corner” is a HUGE 5 way intersection and we had no idea where the stop was. Asked flower vendor who pointed to a bus stop where dozens of city buses went by. 20 minutes w/o Hop bus. Called Cust Service who had no idea. Tried to reach tour operator-call dropped. Called back-operator didn’t answer her. Finally saw bus on other side of intersection going opposite way. Ran to catch next one. No idea where he was supposed to pick up. Finally let us in. Didn’t tell us where headphones were or what to do. Bus not clean. No idea how to indicate wish to stop,& afraid we’d never find our way back on. Eventually bus stopped & no announcements but didn’t resume. We went down to ask driver who said he was done though still within hours. We got out & took a cab back to hotel. Phone customer service had no idea when or where river cruise was. We paid for 48 hrs bus+ river cruise & got an hour on a dirty bus & tons of stress. Didn’t try again & never will. We navigated the tube & taxis & walking without difficulty. Terrible experience !

4.00I bought a 1 day ticket which included and single ride River Cruise. If you want to see the popular sites make sure you get on the red route. I made the mistake of getting on the blue route which takes you to the outskirts and wasted to much time. And once your on the blue route and takes forever to finally connect to the red route. RED ROUTE is Big Ben, Westminister Abbey, Parliament, The Eye, London Bridge, Tower of London etc. BLUE ROUTE is Kensington Palace, Hyde Park, Madame Tousse, etc. They did have plenty of buses going around however traffic is bad in London.
This is a great option to learn and see the best areas of the city.

4.00As a first time visitor or even a retuning one, this is the best way to see the different areas of the city. The app is great because you can track the buses to help with your schedule. My only suggestion is to have more frequent stops on the blue line and don’t end so early. We were in Nottinghill at 5:00 PM and found out that the were no more buses to take us back.

5.00What a fantastic experience I had with city sightseeing..right from the minute I bought my ticket from the very helpful ilias .... ilias was a fountain of knowledge when it came to everything I needed to know about bus tours and boat tours ...I can't thank him enough..to be honest if it wasn't for ilias I probably wouldn't have booked a tour..he is a credit to the company... which led us to meet our city sightseeing bus driver Mavs .. Mavs was so friendly and informative during my time on the bus..which made my tour all the more enjoyable.. I hope to see ilias again in December when I return to book another tour and hopefully get Mavs as my bus driver...what a super day I had thanks to both of them...thank you guys.

5.00Absolutely amazing service from start to finish and beyond!! From meeting ilais near tower bridge and asking him for directions he was ever so friendly and helpful and myself and my friend ended up boarding the city sightseeing bus straight away. Having made friends almost immediately with ilais, our driver mr …. … Mavs was equally just as welcoming. Upon entering the doors to the bus we had such a laugh with Mavs who was a wealth of knowledge about the city. We have now been on and off the buses numerous times throughout our stay in London which has been very convenient and cost effective. We hope to see both ilais and Mavs again on our return to the city as those guys are a credit to the company, ever so friendly and welcoming.
