City Sightseeing London on our Hop-on Hop-off Bus tour will be the best way to explore the capital of England with the rich history and culture. Take in the views and visit iconic sites like Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London at your leisure.
We have selected key tour stops to allow you to see all the sites London has to offer in touching distance. From The Shard, to Big Ben to Oxford Street, we cover all the best places in London. With our 24, 48 and 72-hour tickets, we even offer a free river cruise to explore London by water as well as other exciting inclusions (excluded in the 1-Day Today Ticket).

Red Route - First departure from Stop 1 at 8.45am. Last departure from Stop 1 at 6:35pm. Last full loop is at 4:40pm. Frequency is every 20 minutes until 3:30pm, then every 30 minutes until 6:30pm. Full loop duration: 150 minutes

Green Route Shuttle: First departure from Stop 1 at 10:30am. Last departure from Stop 1 at 4pm. Last full loop is at 2:30pm. Buses run every 90 minutes. Duration: 80 minutes

Blue Route - First departure from Stop 19 at 9:15am. Last departure from Stop 19 at 5:13pm. Last full loop is at 4pm. Duration: 60 minutes. Frequency is every 30 minutes

Customers can start their tour at any of the stops along the routes. Stop 1 on the Red Route and Green Shuttle Service is Belvedere Road
Stop 11 Buckingham Palace is closed every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11am - 12pm due to the Changing of the Guards
Mobile and printed paper vouchers are both accepted on this tour and can be accepted at any of the stops along the routes. Vouchers can be used any day within 12 months of travel date selected at check-out
24-hour ticket includes a one-way cruise between Westminster Pier and Tower Pier. You can start the cruise from either pier. Departs every 40 minutes. Duration: 35 mins approx. First departure (both piers): 10am. Last departure (from Tower pier): 6:55pm. Last departure (from Westminster): 7:20pm. You will be given your cruise ticket when you redeem your voucher on the bus
48 and 72-hour tickets include a same day return trip to and from Greenwich Pier. Departs every 40 minutes. Duration: 35 minutes approx. First departure to Greenwich (from both piers): 10am. Last departure to Greenwich from Westminster Pier: 4pm. Last departures from Greenwich to Westminster Pier: 5:50pm. You will be given your cruise ticket when you redeem your voucher on the bus
T15 Routemaster Heritage Route (included in the 48 and 72-hour tickets only): Buses depart from Trafalgar Square/ Charing Cross Stop F. Departures every 30 minutes from 9:30am - 5pm. Heading west, buses depart from Tower Hill/ Tower of London Stop TA every 30 minutes from 10:30am - 6pm
Night Tour (included in the 72-hour ticket only): Operates daily at 7:30pm, 8pm, 8:30pm, 9:15pm, 9:45pm and 10:20pm (April - September). Operates daily at 7:30pm and 9:20pm (October - March). Departure Stop: Outside Green Park Station

2.5-Hour Express Panoramic bus tour (if option is selected): includes a 2.5-hour panoramic single loop of London only, with no hopping off. Every seat on our top deck offers 360-degree views of London's top sights. You'll be treated to perfect shots of London's skyline with nothing in your way and informative audio guides point out histories, secrets, and the city's lively spirit. You can start your journey at any of our stops on the Red Route. Please note, this is not a hop-on hop-off service. Buses run every 15 minutes. First departure from Stop 1 at 8:45am. Last departure from Stop 1 at 5pm
Please note, Stop 1 Belvedere Road (Red and Green Lines) is out of use until further notice due to construction works
Blue Route Stop Closure (until further notice): Stop 34 will be closed due to a southbound closure on Gloucester Road. Buses will be diverted via Queensbury Place - Harrington Road - Queens Gate. Please use alternative pick-up point: Queen's Gate - Public Stop GT

1.00We waited at two different bus stops for over an hour each time and never saw a single tour bus. After trying the second bus stop, we gave up and took the tube to all the sights. We reached out to City Sightseeing in regards to a refund since we were never able to even utilize these tickets. Never got a response. Could not recommend this company any less.

3.00If not for Lebert, the City Sightseeing Tour salesman on the ground at the Tower stop, we never could have taken our already paid for trip. I don't know if it is the fault of Tripadvisor or the bus company, but I will not book that way again. Once on the bus, it was VERY disappointing that the narrator did not include the stop number when describing where we were. They have a good map that is hard to follow without that information. We won't book with them again for that reason. The fact that Lebert was the most helpful possible person still won't make up for that lack of critical information.

1.00Terrible service, would go as far as to say ruined our day. Waits in excess of the stated 20 minutes for a bus, at one point we waited 45 mins. Old fleet compared to other companies and when sitting downstairs aa upstairs was full, it was ridiculously noisy and hot from the engine. Audio system for commentary not working on 2 of the 3 buses we used. Staff who can’t advise where the bus as stand 10/25 goes and put us on the wrong one, meaning we go back around the route we already did. Angry drivers who spend more time shouting at passengers who go upstairs to see if there’s room when they get on m, rather than driving the bus. Contacted customer service for a refund and they’re not interested Use one of the other companies. At one stop I counted 4 x big bus company busses come through whilst waiting for ours to appear.
Disappointing! Choose one of the others.

5.00Fantastic experience seeing all the different famous sites and areas of London that you may not get to see in such a short space of time. The commentary was so informative and cannot wait to do it again and try the other routes.

4.00The information provided in the app after purchase did not give enough information about where to find bus stops. It just says “anywhere along the route”. Since we were new to London, we did not know what that meant. A link to the company’s app or to a map would have been helpful. We finally find a stop where we could get our tickets printed but it was more by luck than design. The bus tour itself was nice and we enjoyed riding around the city. It was convenient to many tourist areas.

1.00Avoid. We waited almost two hours for the bus and was told that we still had to transfer to another bus further along the route. While waiting for this bus, we saw busses of other companies picking up people every half hour. We were given headphones but very little commentary. I strongly suggest that people book with another company of they don't want to waste their tume.
