If you choose this tour with me, you will see all the beauties of Bukhara. You will be able to visit not only architectural buildings but also working process of different crafts- puppets, blacksmith , gold embroidery, fabric making process, wood carving and etc. Also if you wish , I can organize a masterclass of preparation any traditional meal or even a bread!

Ismail Samani Mausoleum

You will see the oldest mausoleum just from brickwork! From the 9-10th centuries. They used more than 20 styles of laying bricks.It has no colorful decoration or tiles but still attracts. Let`s discover together the secrets of it and how it is connected with culture and history of Tajikistan. Moreover, you will find symbolic shapes of different religions .

Our family of 4 enjoyed a full day with Kamilla! She taught us so much about the history of Uzbekistan and Bukhara through interesting stories and facts. She was patient with our children and took us to visit many different artisans in Bukhara. After our walking tour, Kamilla arranged an afternoon cooking class in a local home for us. We all loved it, especially the children. My 9 year old told me that our day with Kamilla was her favorite day of our entire trip.

What a wonderful tour. Probably the best tour I have had anywhere. Kamilla was not only knowledgeable about the history and culture of Bukhara, but was also interesting and engaging. We talked about our lives and family and she about hers. The tour was well paced with breaks for drinks etc. At the end of the tour we had lunch together in a proper local place off the tourist circuit which was great. The “messages from the past” were a really lovely touch. Highly recommended.

My daughter and I took a late afternoon/evening tour of Bukhara with Kamilla yesterday and had a fantastic time. Kamilla took time to find out about our interests so she could make sure to show us things that she felt would best fit these. She shared information about the history of Bukhara and the buildings therein as well as giving us chance to see various crafts in action (with no pressure to buy anything). One of the things that made our tour really special was Kamilla’s generosity in sharing information about her life and experiences which was incredibly interesting for my 15 year old daughter and me, and really brought to life modern-day Bukhara. We would thoroughly recommend a tour with Kamilla to anyone keen to learn more about beautiful Bukhara.

We booked the tour with Kamilla based on her reviews and were not disappointed. She was really well informed, had a good understanding of what our interests were and was generally very professional as well as friendly. She also has stamina - she met us at our hotel at 09:30 and the tour finished at 2:30. We invited Kamilla to lunch afterwards and she took us to a place that we would never have found otherwise and helped us navigate the menu. It was probably our best Uzbek meal, mainly because we were able to make sensible menu choices. Her English is completely fluent.

Really recommend this experience. Kamilla is an excellent and very attentive guide who showed us not only some of the most impressive sights in Bukhara but also shared a lot of insights into everyday life and culture in Uzbekistan. A very personal experience that will make your stay in Bukhara extra memorable.

A wonderful experience with a professional and knowledgeable guide, Kamilla, who introduced us to the culture, history, and many interesting and fun facts about the city of Bukhara and its surrounding region. All of this was supported by custom-made maps, photos, and “notes from the past.” Unlike other guides we’ve had, Kamilla is not in a hurry to finish the tour, so you can go at your own pace, which makes the whole experience much more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
