Go for an urban discovery in Montreal! You will meet the real Montrealers and learn about their lifestyle. You will visit Downtown, markets and shopping areas. You will visit the Montreal underground city and get to use the subway.

Your tour will start from Place du Canada where you meet your Montrealer guide and learn about the buildings that dominate downtown landscape. You shall than follow your guide to visit the underground city and see one of the most reputed shopping centres in town; Le Centre Eaton de Montreal.

Next stop will be at McGill's campus where you will learn about one of the most prestigious Canadian universities and the Golden Square Mile, where the richest Canadian families resided in the 19th and early 20th century. Take the subway with your guide to One of the most attractive farmers markets in Montreal, Atwater Market and admire the nearby Lachine Canal.

Fran (Francois?) did an amazing job. She was an excellent tour guide. She delved into the history and diversity of the city in a way that could make anyone fall in love. Fran focused on all aspects of Montreal that contribute to its beautiful culture. A day well spent, well organized, and amazing tour guide.

This tour offers an interesting view of Montreal from a historical, yet also current city life perspective. We enjoyed it, as we learned about the systems that underline life (literally) in Montreal for locals. Also, after a subway ride, you end up near the Greenspot diner, which is an amazing old school restaurant that features delicious local favorites (poutine and smoked meat sandwiches were yummy). If you want to see more than the tourist things, try this tour.

Elise was knowledgeable and professional. This tour included forays through local streets and buildings, as well as the underground city and ride on the Metro to Atwater Market. Elise left us with dinner and drink recommendations that were spot on. You really will feel like a Montrealer after you tour with Elise!

Elise, our tour guide, was amazing. She was friendly, knowledgeable and she went out of the way to make sure we had all the information we needed to get around the city. The walking tour provided history of the city and Montréal specific information we would never learn on our own. Overall, it was a great tour and we would take it again.

This three- hour tour is highly recommended. You will get to know several hot spots, and a market. Francoise (Fran) our guide was very professional and friendly. We really enjoyed the tour with her. We learned a lot about history. Thanks much Fran.

Had a great afternoon with Francoise “Fran”. We have been to Montreal a number of times before, with Fran as our guide many of the places we have passed took on a new historical meaning. She was very knowledgeable and it felt like we were touring with a friend. This was a wonderful way to learn more about this beautiful city!
