Do you want to visit Rome in the way local native people do, having a private 9 hrs tour (including driving back and forth) in the comfort of a Mercedes brand new van, picking you up in front of the ship and dropping you off there as well, on time (we never missed 1 ship in 26 years in this business)? You will have a wonderful 9 hours guided tour of Rome, driven by your English speaking driver guide, Rome native, who will inform you about all the most important historical info of each site, giving you tips as well from the vehicle and once he stops, you will visit the sites on your own. Personally prepurchasing the entrance tickets on Viator site, in case you want to visit them inside, for the Colosseum, for a 09.45 / 10 am entrance and the Vatican Museum tickets for 02.00 pm , you will be able to enter them avoiding line (Just lining for security controls), visiting in addition all the other highlights.

We suggest not to visit the Colosseum inside having more time for other sights!

Driver walked us to the office at the Vatican for tickets to the Skip the line tour of the Sistine Chapel - not marked, we never would have found it

This was an excellent private tour arranged by Monica for me and my husband as we wanted to check all of the “must do sites” on our first tour of Rome. The private car was perfect on a record heat day. Mauro was knowledgeable and extremely friendly. He heard us wanting a cappuccino early in the morning and insisted on taking us to one of his favorite local places. It was well worth the 20 minute detour. We saw ALL of the sites with knowledge given the entire way of what areas we were passing etc. We wanted a full Vatican day so we will do that next time and requested we do a local food tour instead. Monica and Carlo made an excellent side tour for us guided by Angelo. The Suppli, charcuterie board, and three Pasta dishes were seriously some of the best food we’ve ever had and that’s coming from a couple of very picky New Yorkers lol. We felt like a true local thanks to Angelo not taking us to tourist traps and only to the most local establishments. Thank you thank you thank you for making our day easy, and a memory of a lifetime!

Mauro was a GREAT driver and was very knowledgeable. He was immediately where we discussed when pickup was needed, and he always got very close by so we didn’t have to walk far (in addition to the Tour walking). Lunch was amazing at his recommended spot! I would ask for him again if we return to Civitavecchia.

Very knowledgeable and friendly. Very adaptable and understanding in meeting our requests. The van he used was very clean and comfortable. He explained our arrangements completely and assisted us in arranging the important sites to see
