  There is a very long walk from meeting place to actually getting on a gondola. The ride was lovely but we were made to share gondola with another couple. Gondolier was very nice and answered all questions. Glad to have had the experience. Found that we could have gotten a Gondola ride from many vendors on the waters edge without booking through a tour agency.

  Really relaxing and beautiful. We shared a gondola and this wasn’t a problem at all. I could have happily spent another hour doing this

  We finally arrived to the correct area after running around for 45 minutes trying to find the place and when we went on the gondola we had to share it with a couple from Germany. We paid in advance but it was not private and the gondola driver was a jerk. Ruined our day in Venice.

  Taking a gondola ride through the canals of Venice was an unforgettable experience—romantic, peaceful, and truly one-of-a-kind. From the moment we stepped into the beautifully crafted gondola, we felt transported back in time. It is high season so we booked online but there was a lot available onsite for $40 Euro's a person.

  You need to walk like 10 min from the meeting point. I travelled with my 77 y/o mother and it was difficult to keep up with the sprint to get to the gondola. Once you get there the trip it is indeed 30 min but is not what you would expect at all is a small tour from very random canals… the gondoleros were not very interested and were speaking to each others about work. Not very special. I would not recommended it.
