Join this 4-hour guided food tour and experience Austrian food culture. Austrian most delicious dishes and wines.

The Viennese coffee house is ideal for a good start to the day. Get to know one of the last traditional coffee houses in its original state and enjoy a large selection of coffee and cakes. From there, we will visit the famous Naschmarkt where we taste a variety of Austrian cheese.

Eat and drink like a local. At our next stop, you will enjoy traditional Leberkäse and side dishes. Then let's treat ourselves to something sweet. Therefore we will discover one of the best and last candy manufactories in Austria. After a short walk, everything is prepared for a wine tasting of typical Austrian wines in a historic wine cellar. Among the three wines tasted is the Grüner Veltliner. Enlightening visit to an artisanal chocolate shop and finally, we will visit a butcher shop where we will sample Austrian bacon bone-in ham and more.

Our guide was excellent. Loved the more off the beaten path cakes, candies, local choices for cheeses, meats and wine. Full of suggestions on where to shop and dine. One our favorite tours on this trip to Vienna.

The tour was well thought out with good food and interesting stops along the way. However I felt it was a little overpriced for what you got and Lucas had a strange attitude towards tourists - with quite a few disparaging comments. I felt this was a little inappropriate given we were clearly tourists ourselves and his business is dependent on tourism.

A fantastic cross section of the city's gastronomy. You have coffee, a cheesemonger, a baker, chocolatier, a butcher, etc - with a wine stop too. We've already (48 hours later) revisited two of the locations from the tour. It comes highly recommended from us.

Did food tour of Vienna our first day. Our guide, Lucas, is a former chef and very knowledgeable about food, wine, and cultural traditions of the region, and kept our group (11 people) very engaged the entire time. Adequate time was given for shopping at a candy and chocolate shop, both stops on the tour. At the end of the tour Lucas gave out maps of recommended restaurants and coffee houses. Overall an excellent experience! Thank you Lucas.

I really enjoyed this food tour! Definitely come hungry as there is a lot of food to eat. We had an excellent mix of authentic foods from sweet to savory. I thought all the details of the tour were very well done and I liked tasting authentic Austrian dishes and artisanal products I would not have known to try. Our tour guide was very funny and I appreciated hearing his insights on local food and products.

Great insight into the Vienna food scene in a relaxed, fun way, visiting a number of different places to sample lots of tasty treats, including some very nice local wine. Lukas, our guide, was incredibly knowledgable and the tour was very well thought out.

A wonderful way to start our visit to Vienna. We had a very enjoyable walk around Vienna talking and learning about local foods. Everything we sampled was delicious. It was personalized and our guide was patient and attentive to our needs.
