We go all together with the boat through the canals of Amsterdam. Including a drink and amazing typical dutch cheese, you will get to know our city like no other.

The captain and hostess are going to endulge you in the secrets of the city. But also where you get the best "stroopwafels", "Bitterballen" and best "Poffertjes".

Amsterdam, capital of the Netherlands, has more than one hundred kilometers of grachten (canals), about 90 islands and 1,500 bridges. The three main canals (Herengracht, Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht), dug in the 17th century during the Dutch Golden Age, form concentric belts around the city, known as the Grachtengordel. Alongside the main canals are 1550 monumental buildings.[1] The 17th-century canal ring area, including the Prinsengracht, Keizersgracht, Herengracht and Jordaan, were listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010,[2] contributing to Amsterdam's fame as the "Venice of the North"

I would have given this 5 stars if they had more of the windows closed. However I was under dressed for the conditions as well! There was lots of cheese, even more drink but the best of all was the commentary from the 2 lads. It was history and informative told with great humour. And full praise to the captain who manoeuvred the very long canal boat through some very tight spaces. Great time.

Based on the good reviews, we expected much more. The guide who drove us across the canals probably only does this on a temporary basis and not very often. At least that's what he said. And so it seemed. The bad thing was, he hardly told anything interesting, you didn't get any information about the sights except about himself and his daughter. At the same time, he advertises his daughter's website, that's not possible. very bad, we had hoped for an informative hour and a half. He couldn't really answer questions either. It was more like a skipper's cruise on the canals with no significant information. It's not worth the money. You'd better find an old, long-established company.

Such a beautiful way to see the city! We had a very small group and it gave it a very personal feeling. Our boat captain was great with so much information on the city. We had a lovely evening.

The stories told by the crew were very entertaining. The evening views of the canal lights were impressive. Definitly worth the time.

Fun canal cruise with our guide Jeremy. He was very personable and involved the crowd with his interactive tour of the Amsterdam canals. There were plenty of local inspired snacks and drinks, blankets if you were chilly and other details for your comfort. Definitely would do this tour again and recommend to anyone.

Our friendly, female leader, Captain CAT, did a super job of touring us all around Amsterdam via its many canals, entertaining us with history and tales of the canals. The fermented refreshments were cold and plentiful. We had three other couples from the US with us and all enjoyed the outing. I would do it again when ever we return!
