Amsterdam, capital of the Netherlands, has more than one hundred kilometers of grachten (canals), about 90 islands and 1,500 bridges. The three main canals (Herengracht, Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht), dug in the 17th century during the Dutch Golden Age, form concentric belts around the city, known as the Grachtengordel. 5.00I had a great time on the canals looking at the boat. It’s looking at the buildings. With TEUNIS. On the flagship Amsterdam. For Captain Jack’s. It was amazing to just relax. In the sun. In April. Bring a light to medium jacket. Check out the wonderful water. They have cheese and strip waffle and licorice and biscuits with wine. And water. Just a wonderful day.
