Alan was a great driver and took care to provide us with environmental and political history of the areas we went through. He made the trip fun. The trip was on time and I would recommend this tour.

Alan was a great driver and host. He stopped to let us take a lot of pictures but still managed to keep us on track. The history lesson was great. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Great value for the price. I wouldn't have paid more but I didn't mind what we did pay (50 euro in October 2025). Included some funny commentary from the bus driver. Really liked the pub we stopped at for lunch. Only weird thing is they advertised going to a chocolate museum/factory and we never made it there. There was no explanation about that either -- just didn't stop at it and never mentioned it. Cliffs of Moher were spectacular. I didn't think we were going to need three hours there but I was definitely wrong.

Very nice trip. Chocolate factory was a definite highlight. The weather at the cliffs started very foggy and rainy but the weather changes there quickly. Watching the fog lift and the cliffs come into view was amazing.

The weather wasn’t the greatest but Phil made the trip fun for us. His local knowledge was refreshing and he taught us quite a bit of history. He provided a number of Irish language words and phrases throughout the day. We visited a few castles that had been around for hundreds of years and shared local lore. The cheese shop we visited had exceptional cheese and chocolate sourced with local ingredients. The weather was truly awful but the views of the countryside were many shades of beautiful green. Cows and small sheep were thriving throughout the hillsides. We made some stops for food and beverages at small family owned spots. The Burren was otherworldly even in the rain. The landscape was spectacular. I really appreciated Phil’s local connections to the staff and proprietors of local establishments. He gave whiskey recommendations and local Galway spots for food and music. Due to the weather The Cliffs of Moher were a bit obscured. The high winds and rain made viewing an adventure but Phil prepared us for it. There was a visitor center which was a welcome refuge from the wind. It had local history clips and wildlife photos as well. We were happy to visit a few gift shops and jewelry stores to get out of the rain. We traveled down along the wild Atlantic Way and took in all the beauty even with the rain. On the way back we made a convenience stop at a local pub. It was a fun time seeing the local beauty and meeting local folk. Upon our return to Galway there were some street closures due to a parade but we were close to our pick up spot. It was a great experience.

Our tour with Wild Atlantic Tours was exceptional. Our driver, Pavel, played a big part in making it so. He gave us a lot of information about Galway and the surrounding areas. He was humourous, engaging and very informative. The tour had just the right number of stops. And having two hours at the cliffs was perfect. My wife and I really enjoyed the day.
