We depart Galway at 10:00 and begin your tour by exploring the Burren region. The first stop is Dunguaire Castle and Kinvara, where we take approximately 15 minutes to view the outside of the castle. Continuing on to Poulnabrone Dolmen, one of the most ancient religious sites in Ireland at 5800 years old, we make another short stop of approximately 10-15 minutes.
We then stop in the quaint fishing village of Doolin to enjoy some lunch for around 45-50 minutes (lunch is NOT included in the ticket cost).
After that, we arrive at the Cliffs of Moher where we have a stop of 2 hours of free time. This is the highlight of the day with ample time to walk the cliff edge and enjoy one of the most incredible natural sites in the world!
Once finished, we return to Galway via the Coast Road with spectacular views over the Aran Islands and Galway Bay, returning to Galway city centre at 18:15.

5.00Our tour guide Tommy was amazing! The way he told his stories and the knowledge he had for the entirety of the tour was vast. We stopped for lunch before the Cliffs and the pub was more than ready for our arrival. Allowing lunch to go smoothly and efficiently to keep us on schedule. Yes, the cliffs were to die for, but we stopped at the beach before heading back to the city and it was the perfect way to close a beautiful fun filled day. Would 100% come back for this tour, especially if Tommy is our guide.

4.00Our driver was phenomenal. The first stop at the castle could have being a tad longer and less at the burial site. It was a good day that went by super fast. The bus was comfortable and the lunch stop is a great choice! Worth the value and avoiding the drive and parking.

5.00Excellent day trip from Galway, but beware the bus driver telling the customers to shush. Did we sign up for an 8-hour vow of silence? No we did not, Driver! Suffused with menopausal rage, we appreciated the karma of the universe when the wing mirror clipped a telephone pole and broke off. Over the headset, we all clearly heard “Ohhhh feck!” Bet you wish we’d been talking then, Driver. Loved the Mesolithic tomb and karst landscape of the Burren. The cliffs of Moher were spectacular. Best day trip ever hahahaha! (Driver was actually lovely. Don’t scold him.)

5.00There’s a lunch stop in Doolin. Try the fish and chips with a Guinness. Barkeep keeps a fire going and it’s cozy!
