After a nourishing breakfast at Karanga Camp, the trek continues towards Barafu Camp, the final base before the summit push. The trail becomes steeper, and the landscape transforms into a stark, rocky environment with few signs of vegetation. Along the way, you will see stunning views of Kibo Peak and the southern glaciers, giving you a taste of what’s to come at the summit. Upon arrival at Barafu Camp, you will take time to relax, hydrate, and have an early dinner. The camp is set on a rugged ridge, offering sweeping views of Mawenzi Peak and the vast plains below. Your guides will brief you on the upcoming summit attempt, ensuring you are well-prepared for the challenging ascent. After dinner, you will retreat to your tent for some much-needed rest, as the summit push begins just before midnight.

Your summit push begins just after midnight, climbing steep switchbacks through the freezing night. The trek to Stella Point (5,739m) is the toughest part, but reaching the rim of the crater rewards you with a stunning sunrise over Africa. A final push brings you to Uhuru Peak (5,895m)—the roof of Africa! After celebrating your achievement, you’ll descend back to Barafu Camp for a short rest before continuing to Mweka Camp (3,090m). The descent is long but easier, and you will enjoy your last night on the mountain with a well-earned meal and deep sleep.

5.00i joined a 7 day lemosho route with a group of 8 people from moshi the group was well organized with burigi chato safaris and found these extra day helpfull for acclimatization.The hiking pace was steady and manageable,and the scenery changed nicely each day.The guides explained what to expect and check on everyoneregulary.summiting was night was rewarding but reaching the top felt very rewarding..overall,it was a memorable experience shared and agood way to hike the lemosho route.For an affordable option,it met my expectations....

5.00Climbing Mountain Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho Route was something I will never forget. It was hard but so worth it. The first day was full of green forest and fresh air then as the days went we climbed higher where the air got colder and the views got even better. Each day had a mix of enjoyment and tiredness but the guide and porters helped me to keep going. Last night to the summit was really tough, we started in the dark , walking slowly under the stars, then early in the morning I finally reached Uhuru Peak 5, 895 meters and this made me cry because my dream finally came true. The sunrise from the top of Africa was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. It made me proud and thankful. This 7 days Kilimanjaro climbing tour via the Lemosho Route taught me that nothing is impossible.

5.00My husband and I did the 7 days Kilimanjaro Climbing Tour via the Lemosho Route with Burigi Chato Safaris, and it was a very amazing tour from the start up to finish. Our Mountain Guide Aminiely was a very professional guide, porters were very helpful and supportive, and the cook also prepared delicious food for us throughout the trip. The Lemosho Route is a very beautiful route on mountain Kilimanjaro. Although the climb was challenging, the guide and porters made it possible and safe we successfully reached up to the summit at Uhuru Peak. I really recommend this 7 days and 6 nights Kilimanjaro climbing tour to anyone who wishes to have an amazing Kilimanjaro climbing experience.

5.00it was truly an unforgettable experience. The office staff were professional, friendly, and always quick to respond to our questions before the trek. On the mountain, our guide team was amazing, knowledgeable, patient, and very supportive throughout the journey. They made sure everyone in the group felt comfortable and motivated every single day. The cook prepared delicious and nutritious meals that kept us energized all the way to the summit. The porters were also incredible, hardworking, cheerful, and always ready to lend a hand.
