5.00Our visit to Woodstone Farm, just before heading to Milford Sound, was truly a highlight of our trip. Located in Te Anau, this hands-on experience at a working farm was something really special. We loved feeding the lambs, getting up close with the animals, and learning about daily farm life—it made the experience feel authentic and memorable. Watching the sheep shearing was fascinating and something we had never seen before. Then, continuing on to Milford Sound was nothing short of breathtaking. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by towering peaks, misty waterfalls, and a quiet, powerful beauty that makes you pause and take it all in. Cruising through the fjord, breathing in the fresh mountain air, and witnessing nature in its purest form was unforgettable. Photos truly don’t do this place justice—you have to experience it for yourself. If you’re traveling through New Zealand, both Woodstone Farm and Milford Sound are absolute musts and experiences you’ll carry with you long after your trip ends.
