What a fantastic coast-to-coast bike ride from Corralejo to El Cotillo! Bas is a brilliant guide—calm, attentive, and genuinely invested in everyone’s safety. He adjusts the pace and difficulty individually, so both stronger riders and less experienced cyclists feel comfortable. The route itself is beautiful and a lot of fun. Having some off-road cycling experience definitely helps, as a few sections are a bit technical, but that also makes the tour exciting rather than just a simple ride. Highly recommended!

The Coast to Coast route was an ideal 'moderate level' ride - Good climbs, great drops, volcano and sea views, all thanks to a great, experienced guide. The e-bikes are well maintained and the battery size was sufficient to complete the route without worry of running out of power. Finally, a great coffee stop in El Cotillo. What's not to like.

Went for a 7 day activity holiday organises by Bas & Darja from FuerteXperience. From the moment I was met at the airport it proved to be an amazing experience. E biking, hiking and Yoga were all fantastic and all delivered in a professional and personal manner. Cannot rate these guys high enough and hope to see you again someday.

Nice diverse tour over different terrain types. Bas is very cozy, can tell you a lot about the area and also gives good explanations about the ebike and how to use it optimally. We had a fantastic experience.

Baz was an excellent guide and provided a wonderful experience for my family and I. He made an extra special effort to tailor the ride for our levels and interests taking note of the things we talked about and delivered what felt like a bespoke tour

I was lucky enough to have a private tour with Baz today (I was the only one to book today). Whereas some tour companies would cancel because there wasn't enough numbers, the tour still went ahead. Ride was great, the perfect amount of climbs to keep it exciting but not too much that you need to be a keen cyclist to be able to complete. Visited some picturesque locations and a great coffee shop. If you are into your bikes, these are top quality e-bikes with Bosch motors. If I ever come back to Corralejo I will definitely be booking again.

We enjoyed the e-bike tour that Bas had adapted a bit for us. Earlier this week we also did the Volcanic Discovery. Also a very nice e-bike tour. Nice for us that Bas spoke Dutch, has lived on Fuerteventura for a long time and therefore knows a lot about everything you encounter along the way. Super interessant. And....we also did the hike to Arco de Las Penitas. That's super impressive. Actually a must to have seen. And again super cozy with Bas and everything he could tell us about what we encountered along the way. Then to the caves in Ajuy. It was a super fun day. So... Bas and Darja thank you so much for your hospitality, the fantastic e-bikes and certainly see you when we are back in Fuerteventura.

Ever since I met Bas in 2022 on my first,and subsequently second during the same week, I have been looking forward to cycling with him again. I have done so this week (June 2025) on a private session and it was, yet again, fantastic! 30 miles of amazing trails,excellent scenery and a fun friendly session. Bas will cater to your ability so for me this was great as I didn't want an easy session but I am sure that the beginner session would suit those who aren't as confident riding in actual mountains. Equally the route could probably made slightly more challenging but I wanted to reign in my ego over skill level! The bikes and equipment are not the typical poor quality rental bikes you normally get on holiday (I'm a qualified cycle mechanic so I can sure you I know what I'm talking about!) so rest assured you are getting the whole package here. If you want a taste of actual "mountain" biking in an amazing country then book with FuerteXperience, you will not regret it.
