This activity takes place in Caloura, a location known for its microclimate, fertile soil and wonderful coastal views, in the central-southern part of the island of São Miguel, which is approximately 20 minutes by car from the city of Ponta Delgada. When we arrive, we will proceed with the distribution of equipment and the safety briefing. When ready, we will start our activity with a short walk along the coast through the irregular volcanic stones resulting from lava flows. Challenge yourself on this adventure when exploring some caves, jumping and diving into the ocean, enjoying natural pools and inland bays. You can expect several jumps between 1 and 8 metres (some optional). Explore the blue scenery of the Atlantic Ocean while snorkelling, discovering and admiring the marine biodiversity of this place. NOTE: If you feel uncomfortable with the high jumps, there are alternatives.

5.00I did the coasteering tour on my own and there were four guides with me. It was a really fun experience! The guides were very friendly, we laughed a lot, and I felt safe and comfortable the whole time. The scenery was beautiful and it was great to be active and explore new places along the coast. Overall a really nice experience that I would definitely recommend.

5.00Our guides Diego and Teresa were amazing! They were kind, patient and fun! They made us feel comfortable throughout the whole experience. Amazing jumps into the most beautiful water. 5.00Teresa and Diego were amazing guides! This was our first time coasteering and we had no idea what to expect. These two were so patient with the group making everyone feel safe and ready before every jump. They made this experience so fun and really catered it to the group. My favorite was the “washer machine” part where the current of the ocean whooshed you around. Another great touch of this was how they took videos/ pictures of the group so you’ll have these memories to share. Thank you so much to these two for this amazing experience!!!!!

5.00First time cliff jumping! Plus I don’t know how to swim! Kinda conquered that fear, doesn’t look all that high until you’re at the top. You just gotta say F it and do it! All the team members were high energy & fun! Kudos to Bruno, Paulo & Ricardo!

5.00Fantastic experience, our first coasteering trip. Ricardo, Diogo and Tavi did a great job of making my family of four (2 teens age 14 and 16) feel safe, and explained everything very clearly and in English. We did around 5 jumps of varying heights, up to around 4 metres, and some climbing through a cave and also had some fun in the water. I really appreciated the effort they went to to find us a location safe enough for the trip to go ahead. Highly recommend.

5.00We had a blast coasteering with ages 8-70! The tour involves a short walk on a path with cliffs on one side, lots of opportunities for jumps, and if weather permits, some playing in the waves/currents too (it was too rough on our day). The tour guides were kind, helpful and a lot of fun. They encouraged us without pressure. It was a fun and exciting way to see and experience the coastline of Sao Miguel.
