5.00Our guide on the coffee tour was very knowledgeable about everything from the history of coffee farming in Guatemala to the production process. I learned a lot. Also enjoyed hearing about chocolate production and weaving. A great way to get a sample of 3 major things in the San Juan area. I’d happily do it again if we come back here some day!

5.00Vicky was an AMAZING tour guide. Beyond the cultivation and fermentation process, we learned all about the history and sociocultural context surrounding coffee and chocolate agriculture. You get to taste and smell fresh produce and the textile demonstration was so unique. Save your souvenir money for THIS part of your trip if you are planning to book (which I strongly recommend). handmade textiles, chocolate and cacao products, coffee MADE HERE. So worth it.

5.00This tour is a must do! We met Victor at the docks in San Juan La Laguna and then we took a tuktuk to the mountains where he gave us lots of information about coffee plants and how they’re grown in the area. We then headed back to the village to taste coffee and he walked us through the whole roasting process. There was also a chocolate tour and a textiles tour following that; Victor waited for us through each explanation. He was very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions we had. The tour lasted about 3 hours including our shopping; the tuktuk ride was also included. I highly recommend this tour with Victor!

5.00Victor was very enthusiastic and passionate about the coffee! He knew a lot, also in response to our questions. The chocolate and textile tour were a very valuable addition. The shops had nice souvenirs for home!

4.00Vic was very knowledgeable about the coffee making process! He met us at our hotel in San Pedro and took us by boat and Tuktuk to a few different places. He also took us to a textile and chocolate tour! Only reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 was because he was 30mins late.
