The temple started as a small hermitage on the banks of the Beira Lake but gradually expanded over the years to become the sprawling complex it is today. The Temple of Sri Kailawasanathan Swami Devasthanam Kovil, commonly referred to as the Kovil, is a significant Hindu temple located in Colombo, Sri Lanka. We had a wonderful half day with Mohammed seeing the sites and hearing the sounds of Colombo. He took us to so many interesting monuments, Hindu temple, Buddhist temple, the old town hall, Galle place and also the military museum. He knew so much about the city and could answer all our questions. He also took us to a tea distribution place where we tasted lots of teas and learnt the best way to serve tea. Included in the tour was a refreshing king coconut drink which is an exclusive coconut found only in Sri Lanka and Thailand. Thoroughly recommend this tour which lasted around 4 hours.

We had a great Tuk-Tuk tour of Colombo! Saw all the sights efficiently accompanied by our professional guide, who gave great information. Very nice and comfortable ride.

We didnt really know what to expect for this tour, but it exceeded our expectations. We were picked up from the hotel and introduced to our guide for the afternoon. He was a local man and knew everything about the area. He showed us the sites around Columbo and allowed us to stop and take pictures when asked. He didnt rush us at all and gave us lots of information about the mosques, temples and national monuments around the area. We mentioned that were were going to go on a gem tour and he took us to a small gem factory to look around. I would thoroughly recommend him, he gave us an insight in to the area. Thank you.

The trip was just PERFECT! Our guide, Mohammed Irfan was one of the BEST tour guides I ever came across. He welcomed us warmly with snacks&drinks ,gave us the entire city tour. We got to experience amazing views and sweet coconuts. He was very humble and explained everything nicely. I highly recommend everyone to choose this tuktuk activity if you are in Srilanka.

Irfan, the TUK TUK WALA was very good. Informative and well informed he took us around in an organised manner. Overqll a very sarisfactory tour eventhough the weather was terrble, unpleasant and sweaty.
