The tour was super spooky and very fun! My sister and I had a great time learning about the grim happenings in Old Colonial Williamsburg and the unfortunate souls still roaming around. I can’t imagine having a better guide than Catherine, and I thank her SO MUCH for taking us around in the absolutely freezing cold weather. 10/10

We were asked to change tour time then no one showed up so we got no tour. Overall very disappointing experience.

We booked this trip for our family at the last minute while staying in Williamsburg. We didn’t realize we had booked the “extended” version which lasted about an hour and half. Our guide was friendly and put up with a lot of questions from our very enthusiastic kids (age 11 and 13). The tour involved about 1-1.5 miles of walking at a slow pace. Our tour didn’t start until a few minutes after 9pm. We ended up leaving the tour before the final stop when it got to 10:30 and it started to rain hard. It was completely dark for the last hour of the tour. We didn’t mind the dark, but it probably could have started at 8:30 and still been a great tour. It would have been nice for the tour guide to spend a few minutes introducing himself in more detail and asking others in the tour where they were from. We didn’t feel any connection with the rest of our group.

Finn was our guide and he was a great storyteller. The stories were entertaining and captivating. The extended version was worth the extra $5 for sure as you got to tour a piece of William and Mary’s campus. Only reason for not a 5 is there’s room for some more engagement and enthusiasm in the storytelling. However, I’d certainly tour with Finn again.
