This is The Historic Triangle Tour. Travel with a local back in time and also in chronological order. We will spend the first part of our day in the 1600's and the second half in the 1700's. This is where the country began, you will see and learn history from a local. We start our day at Jamestown, the beginning 1607 with a guided tour. Our lunch stop will be next at the cafe which is owned by a local restaurant where we will have an included meal which can be colonial style if preferred. After lunch we travel into the 1700's with a battlefield tour and finishing up at the Revolutionary War Museum.

Jamestown Settlement
Jamestown is where the English arrived in 1607. We will learn about 1600's history in the first part of our day. We will have a 1 hour guided tour and 1 hour of free time.
Jamestown Settlement
Lunch will be at the cafe which is owned by a local family restaurant where we can have a colonial style meal or a more traditional meal if desired. Dietary options are available

3.00Overall OK tour. Tour guide could have shortened the trip by a couple of hours. Spent lots of wasted time stoping and doing things not related to the tour. Did the tour to learn history not the guides opinion of what happened and his condescending attitude towards paying customers. Just explain the history, no need to make customers take a test.

5.00The Jamestown and Yorktown trip was a tremendous experience. Our tour guide, Matt, had a delightful way of invigorating the tour with unique insights and thoughtful explanations laced with a spirit of graciousness that was really impressive. Jamestown was loaded with fascinating live demonstrations and engaging exhibits; we'd like to spend more time there. Yorktown turned out to be much more than an empty battlefield. Both locations have fantastic visitor centers that are jam-packed with amazing information that is presented in ways that make learning natural and joyful. Lunch at Jamestown was really good...try a cup of the peanut soup! Take this tour!

5.00If you want to know what happened at Jamestown and Yortown with a lot of laughs in between, this is the tour for you. Our guide/driver Matt was funny, kind, and unbelievably knowledgeable. His voice was well paced and clear enough that not a word was missed. This happens often when one sits towards the back of a tour bus. This was my most memorable tour of all the tours I took in Virginia.
