Dave, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He had an assistant, Norther, who was also helpful. Initially we didn’t think we would see much since the time spent at some places was short but the time allocated was perfect. Dave made sure that we got all the photos we wanted and he even used our camera to take a few of us. My husband uses a cane and had to take things a little slower and Dave was so thoughtful of him. He even found an elevator so my husband could see the good view of My Hood.

The weather of course makes a big difference. Most of the day was cool and dry. When we got to Mount Hood, we couldn't see the top and frozen precipitation was falling. The lodge however was warm and really interesting.

Excellent tour with Chuck, an extremely fun and knowledgeable guy. He knows all about the local history, geography, flora, fauna...the Portland Trailblazers...anything you might want to know. Amazing waterfalls start the trip, then you hit the quaint town of Hood River for lunch and shopping. You end up in a ski lodge at the top of the towering Mt. Hood before heading back to downtown Portland. Great trip, totally recommended!
