Arenal Hanging Bridges
The hanging bridges consists of a series of suspension bridges that are suspended high above the forest floor,providing visitors with a breathtaking view of the surrounding area. As visitors cross the suspension bridges, they will have the opportunityto observe the forest canopy and the wildlife that inhabits it as well visitors may spot a wide variety of animals, including monkeys, sloths, toucans, and other exotic birds.

5.00We are a family of 4 and were traveling with another family of four. Carlos was a wonderful guide. He was enthusiastic and persistent in making sure we were able to view wildlife. He was also fun and patient with all of the kids. We would highly recommend Carlos as a guide!

5.00Carlos spotted animals that were truly impossible to see without a scope. We have incredible pictures and videos of sloths, snakes, lizards, monkeys, and toucans. He was very fun and made every effort to help us see every animal he found. Incredible tour in La fortuna seeing so many different sites. You can’t miss this

5.00Super fun night tour with Carlos. He made it super easy with a pick up and drop off at the Airbnb. 3 kids, 4 adults, no problem. And plenty of wildlife

5.00If you’re going to La Fortuna, just book Carlos and move on. We spent the day with him doing a volcano hike, hanging bridges, and lunch with a group of 11 (5 adults, 6 kids)… and it was seamless. Not easy with that many people and kids. Carlos was great with the kids. Answered all their questions (and there were a lot), kept them engaged, and paced the day really well so nobody hit that wall. Before we started, he told us he’d make sure we saw at least 2 of our 4 requested animals. We saw: • Toucans • Monkeys • Sloths • Bats • Macaws • And a few other things I couldn’t name His eye for spotting wildlife is unreal. We would’ve walked right past most of it without him. He also used his telescope with our phones to get some incredible photos. The kind you don’t expect to walk away with. At one point we asked for a quick coffee stop… Carlos turned it into a coffee stop + toucan sighting + macaw sighting before the coffee was even ready. Just how he operates. What really stood out was his depth of knowledge. He knows the geology, Costa Rican history, and the economy in a way that actually makes it interesting. Didn’t feel scripted at all. He just knows his stuff. He drove us everywhere, picked a great lunch spot, handled timing, and made the whole day feel easy. Also… strong dad jokes. All day. Final Thought: Carlos isn’t just a guide. He’s Mr. La Fortuna. Knows everyone. Knows everything. Makes your day better. 10/10. Would book again without thinking twice.

5.00Carlos was very engaging with the kids and made extra stops to see all the sloths, birds and monkeys. Carlos knew all that you need to know about the animals and the experience. This was a amazing experience and Carlos is awesome! (This was written by a 10 and 12 year old :) )

Not only did we take several tours with Carlos—who is incredibly knowledgeable and truly outstanding—but he also arranged all of our drivers as we traveled throughout the country. His network of contacts and connections is impressive, and he can easily organize whatever you need. Carlos is fun, engaging, and extremely informative. Without a doubt, he is one of the best guides I have ever had in all of my world travels.
