Cruise to Comino Island, Blue Lagoon & Crystal Lagoon
Join us for a scenic boat trip from Bugibba to Comino Island! Enjoy stunning views of Malta’s coastline, including cliffs, caves, and small islands. Along the way, see St. Paul’s Island with its iconic statue, and snap photos of beautiful sea caves.
We’ll stop at two amazing swim spots:
Crystal Lagoon – Only reachable by boat, perfect for swimming, snorkelling, and trying out our three water slides (available June–October, weather permitting).
Blue Lagoon – Swim in crystal-clear waters, relax on the sun deck, or slide into the sea. You can also explore peaceful, car-free Comino Island.
Important: To get off at Blue Lagoon, Comino, book a free ticket in advance at blcomino.com.
On the return to Bugibba, enjoy views of Santa Maria pirate caves and the Elephant’s Head rock formation. Perfect for swimming, relaxing, and exploring!

Sun loungers are free, but available on a first-come, first-served basis
Crystal Lagoon stop operates from June 1 to October 30, and only in fair weather
Captain may cancel or modify the trip due to weather or safety concerns
Routes, start/end points may change based on sea or operational conditions
Listen to onboard announcements or ask the crew for the correct departure times
From November to April, a large sailing catamaran may be used (no underwater windows)
The 5:00 PM Seabird tour is a shorter 4-hour experience

5.00Visited in mid November so the weather though it held up was windy. Regardless this was an amazing experience, friendly crew, nice clean boat.

5.00Great tour. We though a very good value day out at €26. All asspects were amazing and the crew was kind, and helpful too. Blue lagoon was beautiful even though the sea was quite rough that day. Santa maria bay was amazing and the boat time was fun. I'd recommend to anyone except those with small children as the boat is quite open at the sides. The bay we depated from is also in a lovely area and easy to get to by bus. Fun day out, would go again if we could!

5.00Perfect boat trip to very famous and truly amazing parts of Comino with lovely views to Gozo. Very comfortable sunbeds for everyone. The staff was great and very helpful. The top of the trip was a visit to all caves by speed boat 🚤. Finishing I can recommend this trip to everyone.
Amazing experience ever, never see such a clear blue water before. Water temp was ok still can swim

5.00Great value for money for a day trip. Compared to other boats this had great lounge beds both in sun and in the shade. The guide on board spoke very good English! Recommend this tour!

5.00Amazing trip. All the information was issued prior to the actual trip. The boat was big and very clean. Plenty of sunbeds. Snacks on the boat at an affordable price. Facts about the trip in a number of different languages, so there was no issues. Definitely worth the price!

1.00Terrible. High swell. Persons became seasick. One person threw up. Staff were not interested in it. Shoes swam away due to high waves. Since you could not sit in front due to the waves many people stood in the back. Very dangerous in the swell. Money is arguably more important than security
Very relaxing day. No need to leave boat if you don’t want, we done the caves on a speed boat, brilliant to experience.

4.00pleasant boat tour, unfortunately everything has been full despite October and Monday but everyone has received a seat. In the upper area, of course, there was fierce competition. Despite everything a pleasant stay at Crystall Lagoon and Blue Lagoon. Been somewhat disappointed by the Blue Lagoon as only a small beach for swimming. Overhyped! By contrast, Crystall-Lagoon is very cool. You jumped off the ferry and the water was crazy clear. The ferry has a bar with everything necessary. If the sea is calm, you don't have to worry about seasickness. It was a relaxing ride.
