  The Communist Walking Tour of Sofia was absolutely fascinating. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable. I'd highly recommend the tour to anybody interested in communisim, socialism or just politics or history in general. I'd also highly recommend a visit to the Museum of Socialist Art and Monuments. It's the perfect accompaniment to the Communist Walking Tour of Sofia.

• We met at the starting point and had a great tour from 4pm to 7.15pm

  Absolutely amazing 3h walking tour through Sofia. We can recommend it 100% to anyone interested in the communist history of Bulgaria. Vasil was such an enthusiastic guide with a lot of passion, knowledge and he is great in explaining complex things in a easy way and on point. Vasil had pictures ready to show for better understanding. So you don't need any knowledge to understand what he is telling about Bulgaria and communism. He speaks perfect English with an impressive vocabulary. He took care of all our needs during the 3 hours. We often do walking tours like this in a lot of cities, but Vasil's tour is for sure in our personal top 3!

  Very nice tour with an excellent guide (Ivo)! He explained well, in fluent English and he added some personal stories which made it even more interesting. Well done!

  We enjoyed this tour around Sofia. Our guide, Dino, was very well-spoken, knowledgeable and personable. If you enjoy learning about history and seeing highlights of the city, we highly recommend it!

  This was one of the best tours I've ever walked! I first did the socialist tour in Plovdiv, and I already loved it, and on their recommendation I ended up on this tour. I loved it! I loved it. Super interesting, nice little group. Stefan, who led the group, said that he had been doing it for 8 years, but this did not show. He told me like it was a first. We have been able to see a lot and hike a lot, and we have been to places in Sofia where I had never been before, or would come at all from myself. It is interesting how the stories of communism still work and how it is different for everyone. It was the highlight of my trip to Sofia.

  It lasts 2.5h and the boy who played guide was very nice. A good opportunity to learn. It is a very interesting and recommended route.

  We were very disappointed with the tour in Spanish, the guide spoke very slowly and didn’t give much more info than the free guided free tour of the city we did the day before which was really good. We felt like abandoning the tour all the time. Wasted our time and money

  The tour was simply too long and i am sorry to say that but the guide was just talking way to slowly ( it was a tour in Spanish). Not sure if he was tired or he was doing it naturally or on purpose but it was just so slow. And it got to a point i was bored. It could have been done in 2 hours, being more dynamic and with more energy.
