This full-day tour will show you the most important attractions of Como and Lugano like the Cathedral, the San Fedele Church, the Roman city walls and towers in Como and the Cathedral, the Old town, the Parco Ciani and Casino in Lugano. We will start with the 2h walking tour in Como, then we will have 1 hour free time for lunch. At 2.30 p.m. we will part for Lugano from the San Giovanni train station with the comfortable train, the duration of the trip is 35 minutes (the train tickets are not included in the price).
In Lugano we will continue with the 2h walking tour (Santa Maria degli Angeli Church, LAC, Lungolago, Cathedral) and take a funicular to return to the train station (the price of the funicular ticket is included). You will have also some free time in Lugano to visit the shopping area or to have a cup of coffee. At about 5 p.m. we will take the train to Como and finish our tour at 6 p.m. in Como.
For a better experience the tour is limited to maximum 6 participants.

5.00Violeta was an excellent guide. She was very informative and provided great recommendations during lunch and the rest of our trip in Como. She also took us to local food places not mentioned on the tour and gave us a great personal experience. I’d give her more stars if I could.

5.00Before I went on this trip, I prayed to God to connect me with the right people, and I can confidently say Violetta Geiger was an answer to that prayer. She was the perfect fit for me as a solo traveler. She truly went above and beyond to ensure I had an unforgettable experience. Her confidence in maneuvering the somewhat complex public transit, her vast knowledge of the history, geography, culture and practices of the natives was truly enlightening and inspiring to take in. I encountered a few hiccups with sorting out my accommodation at the last minute, and her quick reasoning, sense of humor and ability to keep calm in a situation that would have otherwise been stressful enabled me to practically sort things out. There was never a dull moment with her, she was patient and generous when it came to taking pictures, violetta's understanding and ability to be flexible and adapt to situations is truly one of her many unique and fascinating qualities. Her impressive work, reliability and competence inspired me book her for a second tour to Milan. I highly recommend her to anyone willing to have a truly memorable travel experience.

5.00We very much enjoyed this small group tour of Como and Lugano. Violetta was a wonderful guide, walking us through the highlights of both cities. Even the train ride to Lugano was a treat with the beautiful scenery. In Lugano we enjoyed a delicious lunch - and great conversation - at a restaurant that Violetta recommended. I was traveling with my brother and there was one other woman on the tour; it felt more like being out with friends. Great tour and guide ... highly recommend!!
