Presidente Figueiredo

The tour begins early, with a search at the hotel in Manaus around 6:30. At 7:20, we make a stop at a regional cafe on the road (consumption paid separately). We followed to Presidente Figueiredo, with arrival scheduled for 9:00, where we will start a light walk through the Amazon forest for a visit to the Cave Maroaga and the Cave of Judea, the main natural attractions of the region. During the trail, the Guide explains about the Amazon fauna and flora. From January to July, the cave has a drop of water at its entrance. This stage lasts about 2 hours. It is necessary closed shoes, with option of renting galochas on site. Around 12:00, we continue for lunch included. At 13h, we visit the Lagoa Cristalina and the Red River, with time for bathing and rest. At 14:30, we follow for about 1 hour to the jungle B&B in Lake Balbina, where the experience continues with evening activities and nightly experiences in the forest.

Upon arrival at the jungle B&B in Lake Balbina, visitors pass through a general setting of the space and activities. There is the possibility of bathing in the lake, plus canoes and stand up paddle boards available to enjoy the late afternoon in the middle of the forest. At dawn, we begin the camping experience in the Amazon forest. Those who prefer can stay in the comfort of the B&B chalets, without prejudice to the experience. For those who choose camping, the experience takes place in a straw shelter built in the middle of the forest, where we learn basic survival techniques, such as arming nets and preparing your own dinner. The night is lived in total contact with nature, allowing a real connection with the Amazon forest. Return to the Inn Figueiredo Lodge takes place the next morning. The B&B is located in Lake Balbina, region of Presidente Figueiredo, surrounded by preserved forest.

The second day begins with breakfast at the B&B. Around 9 o'clock, we set out for the Eco Trail of Amazonian Knowledge. The trail is short, with about 1.5 km, but the activity can last until 2:30, as the focus is on the interpretation of the forest. During the tour, the Guide shares knowledge about the Amazon fauna and flora, medicinal plants, centuries-old trees and curiosities of the jungle, as well as the possibility of animal sighting. 12h, we return for lunch at the B&B. At 15:00, we took a boat tour through Lake Balbina, with a stop at the house of caboclos ribeirinhos who live in the area. The vacationer will have direct contact with their lifestyle, with the possibility of trying seasonal fruits. During the tour, there may be a break for piranha or tucunaré fishing, depending on the available time. In the evening, we conduct a night tour to focus on animals, with the possibility of seeing jacarés, arrayes, night birds and appreciate the Amazon starry sky.

Presidente Figueiredo

On the third day, after breakfast at the B&B, the travellers return to the headquarters of the municipality of Presidente Figueiredo. Around 10:00, we visit the Blue Lagoon of Maranhão and the Fervedouro of Maranhão, attractions known for their crystal clear waters and ideal for bathing. In the period of August to mid-January, the ferment is replaced by the Mutum Waterfall, according to the natural conditions of the region. At 12 o'clock, we had lunch at the city headquarters. In the early afternoon, around 1:30 p.m., we headed to the Iracema Waterfall, one of President Figueiredo’s largest waterfalls, with time for bathing and contemplation. Depending on the weather conditions, it is also possible to visit the Waterfall of the Araras. Near the Iracema Waterfall, there are still caves of great beauty, which can be visited according to the available weather. Around 16:00, we started the return to Manaus, with the expected arrival at the guests' hotels around 18:00, ending the experience.
