Enjoy an evening with Viennese Classical Music in the newly renovated Sala Terrena: the oldest concert hall in Vienna, where Mozart himself once played!
The Mozart Ensemble has been playing outstanding string quartet and piano trio concerts in the Sala Terrena for more than 20 years.
Their interpretations of classical chamber music in the unique Viennese style have continuously received unanimous public acclaim. The musicians’ exceptional performances and enthusiasm are always a great success with the audience. Performing in Austria and abroad, the Mozart Ensemble has established itself as a true “insider tip”.

Your tickets will be held at the theater box office for collection on the day of the performance. Please arrive with time (15 min) to collect the ticket before show starting time.
Tickets are Category A (Row 1 to 3) , category B (Row 4 to 6) and Students (All Rows).
Not wheelchair accessible, there are 3 steps down to enter the concert hall. Please advise at time of booking if wheelchair assistance is required.

Make your way to the concert location at the Sala Terrena, located in the heart of Vienna. Inside the venue, look around at the historic frescoes that embellish the interior of the concert hall in Vienna. Sit back and enjoy the 1.5-hour program, performed by a String Quartet dressed in original historical costumes (Wed. Fri. Sat. Sun) and by a Piano Trio, (Tue. The). Listen to well-known compositions by Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Schubert, Hadyn, and others. Imagine what it may have been like to sit and listen to a concert here centuries ago. 3.00Accidently bought student tickets on line,so at site was charged 34 euros extra ! Had to pay in cash, as no card machine working, and no receipt, so assumed it went into someone's pocket. Concert OK but lead violin seemed off tune at times. Nice environment.

5.00Yes this was expensive for what it was BUT it was one of the most delightful experiences that we had in Vienna. The room was beautiful and the performances were fabulous. We especially enjoyed the stories and explanations between each performance.

1.00It is supposed to offer an unforgettable experience with chamber music by Mozart and other composers of the time, but the quality of the first violin is (or has been in this particular concerto) very low. The rest of the ensemble (second violin, viola and cello) played much better. But, being the first violin and conductor, it affected the rest of the ensemble. The room is wonderful, of course.

5.00We so enjoyed our evening here. The place is quite small and intimate, with lovely historical decor. Our trio (piano, violin, cello) treated us to a variety of classical music including Mozart, Haydn, Strauss and Schubert. The setting was special, in that we felt we were guests in a friend’s living room or parlor. Note that the seating is limited and quite close together, so plan accordingly. If you want to experience classical music while in Vienna, this is a fun and relatively inexpensive way to do it. Enjoy!

5.00Beautiful venue and a lovely concert. It felt so authentic with the players dressed in costume, transporting us back to Mozart's time. I would highly recommend it, and I've enjoyed using the Viator app to book all my events.

4.00Music was excellent, very talented and passionate musicians. Somewhat disorganised entry to the venue, took ages for tickets to be allocated despite being there at 7.40pm the concert did not start until 8.15pm. First session was 30 minutes. Second session from 9pm until 9.35pm
