The client is picked up at the Accommodation in Ituzaingó Corrientes, or failing that at the chosen meeting place. And the trip proceeds to the Cambyreta Portal, which is located about 45 km from Ituzaingó, (it is a trip of approximately 1 hour and a half because there are 29 km of gravel and dirt).

We will arrive at the Monterrey camping area, which has barbecue areas and bathrooms (there are no shops or bars). And we will take the tour along the pedestrian paths, where an elevated wooden walkway awaits visitors to enter the heart of the Iberá Wetlands. We will also travel along paths that leave the camping area that can be seen and enjoyed, several times a day. Then we will do the vehicular path: It is a 5 km path. where you can find and admire a variety of typical fauna in its wild state, such as capybaras, alligators, swamp deer, etc., it is worth observing carefully and enjoying the surroundings. Then we will return to the camping area where we will take a break with snacks and hot or cold drinks included in our program.

5.00If you like wild birds and wild animals in their natural habitat and almost none tourist this is a great experience. You get really close to the animals and there are a lot of them like capybaras, caimans, deers, foxes and birds. Fernando is a nice guide with a sense of humour and also talk about some plants and their benefits. When you entering the road to the park you get some information about the park and the further you go in to the park the more stops it will be because of the animals and chances to take photos. When you arrive to the wildlife center you go for a walk and after that it is some snacks which is nice. After that you spot more birds and animals. When we were there the main walking path at the wildlife center were flooded and we have to walk another path the guide told us that the flooded one was better. If the guide had not mention that, we would not have the feeling of missing something. However we really enjoyed the tour and if you are nearby and have time - do it. We did the half day tour to the portal of Cambyreta.

5.00The ibera wetland tour was the highlight of my recent trip. Incredible place, beautiful scenery and the most wonderful wildlife. Ibera connecta offered a good service, knowledgeable guide, answered my many questions and provided a great service. If you are looking for a tour I can only recommend ibera connecta and Fernando who was a wonderful guide.
I loved seeing so many animals, it was amazing. Beautiful landscape

5.00My experience was a private tour. Fernando was very friendly and knows a lot about plants and animals. I saw foxes, carpenters with their families, yacare, swamp deer. Wonderful birds with colors painted by nature. We had a picnic in the park ibera we had a delicious tea with half moons and chipa for me. Very good photographer close-up of swamp animals. 5.00The experience was simply incredible! The entire tour was very well organized, with an easy booking process and smooth communication via WhatsApp with Nil. Punctually, Fernando picked us up at our hotel in downtown Ituzaingó and drove us for many kilometers along rural roads to reach the park. For most of the time, we were the only visitors there. For wildlife lovers, it’s an absolute must-do! We saw hundreds (literally, hundreds!) of capybaras, many caimans, majestic marsh deer, small snakes and insects, and an incredible variety of birds unlike anywhere else I’ve seen. White herons, little egrets, cocoi herons, tinamous, ibises, cormorants, storks, rails, owls, caracaras, eagles, and many other birds of prey — plus dozens of other species constantly appearing — make birdwatching the true highlight of the region. The landscape itself is wonderful and becomes even more breathtaking as the afternoon light fades. Fernando has great knowledge of the local fauna; he is an excellent guide and a perfect choice for exploring the park. The vehicle is safe and comfortable, visibility is excellent, the tour is private, and it includes a snack at the park kiosks. Personally, I found it to be an excellent value for money and would highly recommend the experience. Especially for those traveling to or from Iguazú, it’s a great opportunity to discover the llanos.
