  They were very helpful right from the start, flexible and communicative. Nora was my instructor- I’m not a very experienced diver, but I felt really safe and extremely well guided for my Advanced open water course. She is incredibly knowledgeable and professional but also very friendly and easy to get along with. As a marine biologist, she was also able to teach me so much about what we saw underwater. Something often missing from dives I’ve had before. Would 100% love to dive with her again!

  We are a group of 4 experienced divers. We all agree a way above average day by Lipe Divers. All crew friendly and helpful. Especially our Dive leader Yousuf and Boat boy Toto. Highly recommended. A fantastic day.

  My wife and I dive with Gabby yesterday, had a an amazing day diving. Felt well taken care of and safe! Great crew on the boat. We’ve dove with this company before and will continue to in the future!

  I went to Jo Lipi dive shop about two weeks ago and it was the worst experience in my diving career… I have about 1000 dives all over the world and this shop is the most unprofessional shop I’ve ever dealt with. The Manager of the shop is name is GAB, and the owner of the shop is named Eric… I went into the shop because it looked like the nicest shop on walking Street… I had a medical issue with diving that day… I showed up one hour early to explain the situation… I was planning on diving 10 dives with their shop… The first dive, they made me pay in full, which should’ve been my first sign… Looking back, I’ve never had a dive shop charge me in full before I actually went diving… But they did and I didn’t think much of it… I figured after my first dive, I would book my 10 day package… I had an emergency and I was not able to drive the first day and I just wanted to postpone The dive because it was unsafe for me to dive that day, and I would’ve jeopardized myself and possibly other divers… The manager was so ridiculous, he would not let me postpone the dive, and he was keeping my money… There was a screaming match back-and-forth with each other, it almost came to blows… Extremely unprofessional… Anyway, I left the shop only to go to another dive shop who welcomed my business. (Adang Dive Shop)… I went into there dive shop and they were extremely nice and had two weeks worth of great diving… The Ko Lipi Dive Shop Manager, GAB , I wouldn’t let him manage a flower shop… Especially a business that requires somebody to understand the importance of being professional… My next review is going to be with Padi to explain the situation… I now know of several employees who have quit working for them lately… The other employees that are there are unhappy… Everybody was unhappy… This guy GAB is a horrible manager… I left the shop, and they would not allow me to change my dove day … And therefore, of course, I left frazzled and very unhappy… I have never had an experience like this in all my diving years, which is over 25 years….

  We stumbled upon Koh Lipe Diving School when I was looking to purchase a mask and snorkel. Eric happened to be at the desk and was very knowledgeable regarding the different mask types, material, and best fit for me. He also offered to help me prepare the mask so that it wouldn’t fog as easily. We decided to dive with Koh Lipe Diving School because from that initial interaction we could already tell that we would be receiving a superb experience with professionals. And we were definitely impressed! I signed up for the Advanced Open Water course with Eric and we would start the day with a 30 min whiteboard talk about what I was learning that day. Throughout my dives, Eric was very attentive and made sure to reinforce the things that I was learning. I could feel the noticeable improvement from all his teachings. It is also evident that he loves the marine life and we spotted an amazing breadth of fishes. We dived at different sites every time as well. Their shop is conveniently located on Walking Street and is a quick walk to Pattaya beach where we board the boat. The diving boat they use is also a beautiful, spacious, 3 story boat with an amazing sundeck. The Thai staff on board were super helpful and attentive as well, always watching to help people with their gear. We were also provided with a simple and delicious lunchbox between dives, and there were always two plates of fresh fruit as well as water, coffee, and tea. Overall it was such a wonderful experience and we are so happy we chose to dive with Koh Lope Diving School. Best diving shop on the island!

  Diving very professional I dived 2 times and I’ve done adventure dive with Eric. He was very nice and very professional. The dive’s sites were amazing an aquarium with jellyfish, sea horses and wonderful corals. Koh lipe is one of the best place to dive in Thailand.

  I completed the SSI "Advanced Adventurer" (same as PADI Advanced Open Water) with Koh Lipe Diving in December 2019. I contacted a variety of companies and am very happy I chose Koh Lipe Diving. They are a well established professional outfit. David responded to my initial email with all info I needed within 45 minutes! (If you're thinking about the advanced, do it! I found it easier than the open water) If you're a beginner get your PADI/SSI, you will thank yourself forever! They offer try dives too. You also get dive insurance. * They are one of only 2 operators with a big boat = reliability, access to more sites & comfort! * The rental equipment was in good condition and they just opened a fantastic diving equipment shop at the beach end of "Walking Street". * Fresh fruit, tea, coffee and water is available on the boat throughout the day, and a decent thai dish with rice is served at lunch. They can adjust for dietary requirements too. * If you do the Advanced course, you get 6 dives (many only offer 5 for the same price) * If you do the Advanced course, you can do a NIGHT DIVE. Koh Lipe Diving is the only operator who offers night dives. * All staff I encountered were professional, experienced, good humoured and patient... Richard Wisdom is an excellent instructor... very knowledgeable, patient, calm and friendly which makes for great diving. Richard answered all of my questions (from the sensible to the ridiculous) with a smile. He was also happy to spend time discussing dive theory in more detail. Definitely dive with these guys.

  I had a great time diving with KLD. Eric’s team is professionnal and very friendly. I appreciated the fact that safety is their priority and that they checked the current before sending their customers underwater. Their boat is spacious and comfortable and you can relax and enjoy tea, coffee and fruits between two dives. Tiago, my instructor for the advanced advanturer course was very knowledgeable, patient and fun. He managed to walk me through underwater navigation (which isn’t really my strong suit :D). I also enjoyed the fun dives with Ludo. I would have loved staying a few more days on the island and will definitely dive with KLD if I ever go back to Koh Lipe. I highly recommend KLD if you are visiting Koh Lipe. You will not be disappointed.
