Firstly we welcome you at our gioan cooking class 222/17 ly thuong kiet st, hoi an Ancient town, Viet nam. Our instructor will take you to the market and show every thing for your next cooking class, such as “what is the name of the vegetable? How do you select fresh vegetables, meat and seafood?” This trip takes around 30-45 minutes which we’ll look at noodles, meat, herb, powders, fish market and taste some tropical fruits. Then time to cook hands-on for your favorite dishes. The main chef will explain how to cook in step by step. Besides, we will entertain you by karaoke with some songs, so you will feel like cooking at home. After that, it’s time for cooking and enjoying your own dishes! We will start cooking each dish and the instructor will show you how to enjoy your food in the Vietnamese way. Come to us with guaranteed satisfaction!

5.00I’ve cooked with Vina at Gioan three times over a number of visits to Hoi An (with both family and friends). She’s a gem & the experience is fun and there’s lots to learn - AND amazing food to enjoy at the end! Strongly recommend this cooking school to everyone. Air conditioned, fresh food, a market experience and lots of fun facts - what’s not to love!

5.00Excellent teacher, really fun but we learned a lot. Visited a great local market to buy ingredients with lovely English speaking guide. Then back to meet the wonderful Veena who flirted with us ( well Hot Steve at least!) made us laugh and taught us to cook delicious food. We ate everything we cooked- it was all incredible. Dishes were adapted for vegetarian/pescatarians. Highly recommend

5.00An excellent experience today. Almost a 4 hour completely hands on cooking class with a quick trip to the market. Made 4 different authentic dishes, all very tasty. Would highly recommend Gioan Cookery school. We learned a lot while having fun.

5.00We had a great time with Vina cooking bún cha and bò la lôt. She was a great teacher, very funny and had the foresight to take pictures for us while we were cooking. The recipes are good and we loved that we have the option here to choose which meal we want to learn instead of the other schools that only have fixed menus. You should come hungry to your course because it makes alot of food and it's so good.

5.00Vi Na is absolutely delightful – this is the second time that I have enjoyed cooking with her. I came back with my sister for her first time in Hoi An and this was the first thing we booked! my sister is a Aryan who is allergic to dairy and I am not. And Hk) made sure that we had delicious tofu and mushrooms for her and shrimp for me. It was just so much fun! The food we made was the absolute best country pancakes, spring rolls, mango salad and banana leaf tuna I have ever had.

5.00What a fantastic evening! We had a brilliant time and the best food we've eaten all week. Vina was a wonderful teacher - explained everything really well, gave us lots of tips about how to cook the dishes at home (as well as a recipe book to take home) and just made the whole time incredibly good fun. We laughed a lot, learned a lot and are really well!
