This isn't your regular cooking class. We're not into the whole touristy thing. We're here to give you a taste of a day in the life of a local. Market exploration, tasting street food, and then back to our kitchen to whip up something delicious from what we found. The menu? Well, that depends on what the market surprises us with, but hey, we're flexible – we'll cook what you crave.

What a great way to experience the market! Our expedition started with a scooter ride with our guide and an « uncle » to a local Banh Mi place and coffee shop for breakfast. Delicious!! Next, we were off with our baskets and shopping list to find and buy our ingredients - assisted by our amazing guide Tracy(Trúc) who made the entire experience so enjoyable. Then back to the homestay to cook several delicious and varied dishes - from sweet soup to stuffed fresh jackfruit and tofu in tomato sauce - with leftovers for dinner! We appreciated them accommodating a vegan/vegetarian (chay) experience. Highly recommended.

I took part in the cooking class today and I am completely thrilled. It was super exciting to be able to shop in the market myself accompanied and learn a bit more about local life, drink at a small local food stand and coffee shop with food and coffee and afterwards turn the purchased products into delicious dishes. What thrilled me so much was that even a small souvenir video was edited. Which I didn't expect. Thank you. 100% recommendation

This was a great tour for food lovers. Tracy took us to the market where we shopped for everything we would need to cook our meal. We were the only tourists and saw everything from eels to frogs to pigs ears for sale. We were then taught how to cook a delicious Vietnamese meal which we then ate. As a family with teens we all enjoyed this tour.

We had the best morning, first we went to the local market to buy the ingredients to cook which was a beautiful experience and all the locals were incredible friendly! Chi was amazing and we had the best time! Afterwards we started cooking the amazing local dishes which were absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend it to anyone, a must do!

A superb morning at the market to buy the products of our lunch. A very good local breakfast, good coffee in the market and fantastic meal. We should do this every day 🥴

The cooking tour was lovely- we made so much delicious food! We started off at the market and bought all ingredients and then went to a homestay to cook all. I am vegetarian and it was easy to accommodate all meals and I was well fed! The dishes were interesting- we haven’t had them before. We were encouraged to try fruits we haven’t tried, and they helped us prepare it. I’d definitely recommend this tour

My husband and I had booked only one day in Chi's beautiful homestay, and ended up staying three! While we were there, intrigued by the "cooking class" we asked Chi who immediately made herself available and organized it the same morning. The experience is super authentic and is exactly like going with a friend to the local market, shopping and then coming home and cooking with her family. The thing that made it authentic was that Chi taught us how to buy food in the local language, explained local customs and customs and so we could learn things that go beyond the usual burst information that is given during regular tours. It left us free to choose where to go to the market, so there was nothing forced or no "mandatory stop" as often happens during commercial tours. It was super fun and authentic, to the point that during the shopping the whole market and we burst out laughing at the difference in height between us two tourists and the very nice women at the counters :D. Do it!!
