Amazing group cooking class in Portugese home!

5.00I can't recommend Teresa and Mario's class enough! It was so lovely to be in Teresa's home and learning how to cook Portuguese food in her kitchen. Teresa and Mario make the class so fun and easy to follow. The food is delicious—definitely come hungry! The class is excellent for a group; I attended with six girlfriends for a friend's bachelorette party. Highly recommend!

5.00We had a wonderful evening and it was a great way to spend our last evening in Portugal! Amazing appetizers, dinner and wine with Teresa and family! Highly recommend this experience to learn some Portugal history, cooking techniques and enjoy a home cooked meal in a wonderful setting!

5.00Teresa and Mario were very warm and welcoming and walked us through the prep of our dishes and written instructions. Lovely meal in the dining room and talk about Portuguese history and their families. A great experience.

5.00Teresa and Mario are wonderful hosts! What a pleasure to have a home cooked meal (orchestrated by Teresa, but cooked by us) in her home. It was a special ending to our wonderful vacation in Portugal. The appetizers, the conversation and the wine all flowed. Everything was tasty, with fresh ingredients and thoughtful preparation, and the home is lovely, in a suburb of Cascais. My one suggestion for Teresa for when folks sign up for the evening, would be to offer up several different menu suggestions from which guests could select what they wanted to make. Maybe this happens, but we were not aware of it, and frankly, it didn't matter. We wanted to be surprised. But if there's a special dish you really want to learn how to make, I'm sure she can accommodate. She did ask us if we had any food allergies or there were ingredients we wanted to stay away from. Things like too much salt, etc. would be important to mention before you attend. All in all it was a delightful evening, and we'd do it all over again!

5.00Teresa and Mario were wonderful hosts. Being in someone's home while on vacation was a very different experience for us. There was some confusion in the Viator directions, as we understood we were to be picked up and taken to Cascais. It turned out, we made our own way there and back in an Uber. Will have to check on this aspect. Other than that, a delightful evening making food with friends--and new friends!

5.00We had am amazing time with Teresa and Mario! From the moment we walked in, until the moment we left, we felt like family. My wife and I wanted a special experience for our college aged daughters and this cooking workshop was perfect. We like to cook, experience new cuisines and we like to eat! Teresa and Mario took so much care to not only show us how to cook the dishes but also explain the history of them. The desert was an old family recipe too and that was amazing! I cannot say enough how amazing this experience was and I cannot recommend it enough. We not only learned some new dishes and techniques but we also left with new friends. Thank you Teresa and Mario!

5.00Teresa and Mario were the most incredible hosts. They gave me and my friends an authentic Portuguese experience in their home, teaching us how to make Traditional Portuguese dishes. They were extremely welcoming and happy to answer any questions we threw at them about Portuguese cuisine or culture. We had the best time learning, dining, and chatting with them both. I would 110% recommend this experience to anyone visiting the Lisbon/Cascais area and want to experience the Portuguese culture. Thank you Teresa and Mario!

5.00Teresa's cooking workshop was the highlight of our company away trip in Cascais! We did a cooking workshop at Teresa's house which was beautiful- she prepared some drinks, Portuguese cheese and ham on arrival and guided us through the menu, and shared some history of Portuguese cuisine with us before starting the cooking workshop. Teresa was very thorough in her teaching and it was so fun to do it in a group setting! All the food was absolutely delicious, there were 11 of us in the group and the space was perfect for it.

5.00Simply WOW!!!! Teresa and the whole team at Meals and Memories surpassed all our expectations. The hospitality, attention to detail, quality of ingredients and food was top of class. We felt beyond welcome in her home and honestly could have stayed for a week! We can highly recommend the experience for anyone looking to see what Portuquese hospitality and cuisine is all about. Presented with genuine love and pride to their country and culture by Meals and Memories ❤️

5.00Teresa and Mario couldn’t have done more to make us feel like we were part of their family. Teresa invited us into her home and showered us with great food, regional drinks and wonderful conversation. We immersed ourselves in the culture by assisting with the meal, while learning so much from them throughout the evening. Highly recommend doing this in Cascais!
