Cycling in Copenhagen is not just a way of transportation but a way of life. More than half of all Copenhageners get around town on a bike, supported by an incredible cycling infrastructure. This tour takes you on a 3 hour adventure to experience this way of life for yourself and discover the best way of sightseeing.

We believe that our tours are more than just hopping from one location to another. Our guides love this city and they have plenty of stories to tell. That’s why we encourage our guides to blend some of their personal favourites into the tour, offering you both the common highlights but also hidden gems and deeper tips and tricks into Copenhagen’s vibrant life. Do not hesitate to ask questions – our tours are meant to be a dialogue between you and our guides.

We can highly recommend this tour. Everything about the tour and Tropical Bikes was perfect. Our guide, Simona, was brilliant, she was friendly, funny and very knowledgeable on the history of Copenhagen. Simona made the experience very enjoyable.

I have been travelling since 22 September around Europe and the bike tour I had with Laura, had to be the highlight of my trip. It was so amazing. Laura was very informative and humorous. She took us to so many different places in Copenhagen and it was great to see the changing of the guards event in the castle close up. Thank you Laura for the great experience and the informative knowledge about Copenhagen and Denmark. I recently moved to Copenhagen and had family visiting, this was a great way to show them around all the main attractions and learn a lot of history too. Our tour guide was amazing she was very knowledgable, friendly and the bikes were so much fun!

Fun cycle tour of Copenhagen on traditional bikes. Our guide was knowledgeable and engaging and we were well briefed on how to navigate the Copenhagen roads as we followed him. The tour took in many of Copenhagen sites of interest, and this was a fun way to get out to see the little mermaid (she really is little and if I’d walked, she might have been a bit of a disappointment). Morning tour also takes in part of the changing of the guard at Amalienborg Palace which again was enjoyable to see. Bikes were well-maintained and easy to ride once I had got the hang of back pedal braking again. Cycle helmets are available to borrow and in between seeing the sights there were some nice periods of just cycling along Copenhagen’s lovely cycle paths, and beautiful streets.
