5.00The trip was a true amazing adventure with an outstanding crew. Right when we approached the harbor and saw our smaller pirate like boat we knew we chose the right company. Left and right were large catamaran like tourist boats filled with numerous people and no charm at all. We entered our adventure and were greeted by Jan probably the best captain I could imagine. He threw ropes, navigated the ship, and informed us about nature and the trip like he did nothing else in his life. The crew Jordan and Alicia were both energy filled power houses. They took us on dives (first time divers and pros), they cleaned, they cooked, they entertained and they just spread the good vibe. Thanks for everything would book again with them without any second thought

5.00I cannot fully express how great this trip was. It is so much nicer to do the outer Great Barrier Reef in a small group and in an uncrowded area with sailing and 5 opportunities for snorkeling and/or scuba. Crew was professional and safe, but lots of fun and very attentive. Want to try a live aboard? 2 days and 1 night is perfect.

5.00This 2 day and 1 night trip is an excellent way to spend time scuba diving in the beautiful outer Great Barrier Reef when you don’t have time for a long 5 day liveaboard but still want to see the best of the reef without all the crowds. The dives are also guided if you prefer that and cater for all levels including certified and try dives. The snorkelling is excellent so caters for both diving and snorkelling if not all of your group are divers. Our skipper and crew Justin and Chad were great and worked hard to keep us safe and guided us to the best possible spots. It’s not a luxury boat but is small and intimate. You just can’t fail to have the best time on board Coral Sea Dreaming!

5.00Great time, good people and incredible diving. Captain Jan is full of energy and lets the guests dive and snorkel as much as they want and the reefs where the boat can moor are fantastic. The larger boats with 200+ guests have limited access to the reefs and run you like a product service, coral sea dreaming has over 20+ moorings so you are guaranteed a unique dive experience. For our trip, we were the only two certified divers and we had the reefs to ourselves, no other divers in sight what an experience! It’s a dive boat, the food is basic but the location, the people, the night sky and reef is what it is all about. If you are looking to get away from the commercialization and crowds this is the trip. Great time and I would book this again.

5.00Amazing experience above and below the water. Capt, Justin is a perfect combination of professionalism and good humor. The dive sites are exquisite. Being on a small 13 passenger boat with the right people is super fun. It is not a “luxury experience” to be clear. This is for the adventurous souls who would rather rough it than be on a giant cattle barge with a hundred divers. Food is filing , not fancy. Bunks, head and shower are clean and serviceable. I would absolutely do this trip again.

5.00I met Captain Justin on TikTok a few months back and he said come out and have a go on the boat! So as our travel plans allowed it, we came to Cairns and booked Sea Coral Dreaming and were blown away! People always big things up especially if they work for the company but that isn’t Justin’s way, he doesn’t have to, the experience speaks for itself - we were lucky my friend and I - there was a full boat (12) but the boat never seemed crowed in anyway, we had great fun with all the guests and the crew. Justin was very informative and his knowledge excellent, his crew Chad & Ali were just the best, kind, caring, patient, friendly (must have been as as a rule I don’t tip but these guys - nothing was too much trouble - they got a good tip!). We were taken to some beautiful dive spots and felt very privileged to have been taken there, they fed us and fed us well, watered us, taught us, swam with us! Sea Coral Dreaming is a family run business and it showed, we were cared for and were not just a number on a muster sheet - their attention to detail was so very professional and safety, well safety was and quite rightly paramount and above and beyond!! Would we do it again? In a heart beat! Would we recommend Sea Coral Dreaming? Hands down YES and a BIG FAT YES at that! You can’t beat that family run business because whilst we were there with Sea Coral Dreaming we were one big family!! So Justin, Chad, Ali and Yan thank you all for giving both Gina and myself a trip of a life time! Thank you all again! Pam x

5.00We had an excellent experience for the overnight snorkelling adventure. The entire crew lead by Captain Justin were excellent. My wife tried the introductory scuba diving and the instructor, Romain, was excellent. She thoroughly enjoyed the diving experience. The snorkelling locations were great and all the equipment was well maintained. The food was good and plenty full for sure. The food was on the basic side but everyone was full. The team even catered to some food sensitivities by cooking items separately. When we returned to shore, the captain showed our route on a very large map while our bags were unloaded. The crew then organized a group photo with all the guests. The final detail which was really special was our shoes which we left on shore were all neatly placed in pairs beside the ramp. The crew even stood in a line at the exit ramp to see the guests off. Well done men !!! Our only small criticism would be the rooms at the back are near the ship’s generator which runs all night. The company should supply some soft foam ear plugs perhaps.
