Morning pick-up, preferably at 8 am, we’ll have a 3.5-hours drive to Corvin Castle it will feel much shorter because of my storytelling about Romanian history while having an incredible view of the Carpathian Mountains. Also, I’ll share with you while I drive the story of the notorious Vlad the Impaler. After arriving at Corvin Castle we explore the inside of the castle guided by me and connecting the history to many of the facts, stories, and other information shared on the drive. The visit will take about 2 hours. Corvin Castle is probably the best Gothic castle that you’ve ever visited and is more than worth the drive to get there! After we visit the castle we drive to Sibiu for about 1.5 hours.
Sibiu
Aaaaand we arrived in beautiful Sibiu, we will spend here about 3 hours. Sibiu is a middle-sized, well-preserved fortified medieval town in central Romania, situated in the historical region of Transylvania. Sibiu is known for its culture, history, gastronomy, and diverse architecture, which includes the iconic houses with eyes that gave Sibiu its nickname "the city with eyes". The town has a rich heritage and enchanting atmosphere, making it a destination for anyone who loves history, culture, and architecture. Here we'll visit the Orthodox and Lutheran Cathedrals and the historical center, which began the process of becoming a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sibiu is also known for its culinary scene, which offers a taste of traditional Romanian cuisine. We can stop for lunch at one of the many restaurants in the town and enjoy some of the local delicacies. After that, we'll drive for about 2 hours back to your hotel in Brasov.

5.00I had a three day tour including Sibiu, Corvin, Bran, and Peles Castles, Viscri, Biertan, and Prejmer. Adrian's knowledge of the history, people and places is extensive and he shares it all in the most engaging manner. He is wonderful to spend time with ( I don't say that about many people) and was very flexible, arranging my tour so that I had time to travel from Sibiu to Sighisoara on my own where he picked me up a few days later to complete my tour. Adrian chose the final day's itinerary and I couldn't have been happier with the areas he chose. One of my most memorable trips thanks to Adrian.

5.00Corvin Castle is a must-see for anyone visiting Romania, and experiencing it with Adrian as our guide made it unforgettable. He is passionate about his work, deeply knowledgeable, and truly a master of his craft. From the moment we met him, he was warm, welcoming, and funny, with a gift for storytelling that brought centuries of Romanian history to life. The drive from Braşov gave us a chance to see the beautiful countryside, and Adrian used the time to share fascinating insights about Romania’s past and present. By the time we arrived, we understood the castle’s historical context so much more deeply, which made exploring it even more special. Because it’s farther from the main tourist hubs, Corvin Castle wasn’t crowded, and we were able to take our time wandering through its halls, towers, and hidden corners. Adrian went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves throughout the day. After our visit, he took us to Sibiu, a charming town full of history, stunning churches, and vibrant squares. A climb to the top of the clock tower was the perfect way to end the day with a sweeping view of the city below. This was easily one of the highlights of my trip to Romania. Adrian’s kindness, honesty, and passion turned what could have been a standard tour into a truly memorable experience. I cannot recommend him highly enough. If you’re considering this tour, book it. You’ll walk away with not just great memories, but a deeper appreciation for Romania’s history and culture.

Everything was very well organized, from the transportation to the schedule, which made the whole day relaxing and full of discoveries. Corvin Castle is truly impressive, rich in history and legends, and the guide managed to bring each room to life through captivating stories and lesser-known details. In Sibiu, I discovered a stunning city, with remarkable architecture and a unique atmosphere, which I would not have understood as well without the guide’s explanations. It was a complete experience: history, culture, and breathtaking scenery. 5.00This was a wonderful trip filled with breathtaking views and delicious food. I wanted to visit both locations without worrying about planning or logistics, and this tour was the perfect solution—everything was expertly organized and coordinated. It was a long day, leaving Brașov at 8:00 AM and returning around 11:00 PM, but it was absolutely worth it. Adrian is a skilled driver and a true expert in history. His deep knowledge made the journey safe, informative, and entertaining from start to finish. Corvin Castle is one of Romania’s most remarkable castles, and its stories are simply captivating. Sibiu is a fascinating city, full of charm and character. We explored the stairways and passages connecting the Lower Town and Upper Town, toured the iconic squares, and visited both the impressive Lutheran Cathedral and the Holy Trinity Cathedral—beautiful representations of the city’s multicultural heritage. On our way back to Brașov, we stopped in Făgăraș. The nighttime view of the castle from outside the moat was stunning—like something out of a fairytale. Travel Tip: There’s a lot to see and plenty of walking involved, so wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for a full day. This tour is perfect for history lovers, architecture enthusiasts, and anyone wanting a deeper look at Transylvania’s treasures. I’d absolutely recommend it to friends and family. 5.00We had such a great time on our first tour with Adrian that we booked this one too—especially since visiting Corvin Castle was a dream of mine. Adrian was fantastic: knowledgeable, professional, and super friendly. The castle was absolutely breathtaking, and Sibiu was full of charm and history. We really appreciated the relaxed pace and personal feel of the tour. Highly recommended if you're in Brașov and want a memorable day out!

5.00Our tour with Adrian was fabulous! Very informative of past , present, and future events in Romania. He went above and beyond. Even going up the stairs because I couldn’t make it up and take photos for me. Stopping on the side of the road for photos of things that weren’t even on the tour. Adrian is truly a treasure chest of knowledge , and very funny! We enjoyed him so much ! If I could I would give him 10 stars ⭐️
