The opportunity to witness agriculture in action is a rarity nowadays. To experience where our food is grown rather than to watch it arrive at supermarkets is the point of our farm tours. Our farmers are happy to work with you to design a farm tour that fits into your group’s focus.
We are happy to share our farm with you in a way that meets the interest of your group. Sample group tour focuses are below to give you an idea of what a farm experience can offer.
Local food production and distribution, with an emphasis on seasonality, what crops grow when, and how we distribute them.
Medicinal Plants; Explain the traditional medicine practices since prehistoric times. Plants synthesise hundreds of chemical compounds for functions including defence against insects, fungi, diseases, and herbivorous mammals.
