At Ramen Cooking Tokyo, we offer an immersive cooking class that goes beyond cooking—emphasizing genuine cultural exchange. Our English-friendly Japanese hosts warmly welcome guests into an intimate, small-group setting where lasting connections form.

During our relaxed 2.5–3 hour experience, you'll learn to create two iconic Japanese dishes: authentic ramen and your choice of handmade sushi or delicious gyoza. Enjoy unlimited sake pairings carefully curated to complement each dish, along with insightful explanations of their cultural significance.

Families traveling with children are warmly welcomed—kids even receive traditional Japanese "dagashi" snacks as delightful souvenirs. Our classes are especially popular for special occasions like birthdays, honeymoons, or graduations, ensuring every event is memorable.

At Ramen Cooking Tokyo, you'll be warmly greeted by our English-friendly Japanese hosts in a cozy, small-group setting. Over the course of our relaxed 3-hour class, you'll learn to create delicious ramen and sushi (or optional gyoza) from scratch. Amazing amazing experience! My best friend and I had a lovely time, class is a great mix of learning about what youre making and having a great time cooking. Our teachers were incredibly kind, amazing to chat with, and created a very memorable experience. In a great location, amazing intimate class environment! Definitely recommend booking here over some similar classes in the area.

This was such a great experience to make your own sushi and ramen. Our hosts were amazing, providing their expertise. Hosts were so attentive and graciously nice, they made the experience well worth it. Tomokos class is a great place to experience authentic Japanese food.

Tomoko and the rest of her team were such great hosts and teachers! Finally learned how to make some sushi nigiri + ramen. I came with friends, but definitely a great experience to come with significant others + family.
Worth to go! :-)

Very nice people, great ingredients, and a lots of fun! I would recommend to visit the class in the beginning of your trip as you get also various insights about Japan and its (food) culture! :-)

Excellent cooking course! Very small and intimate, the hosts really made us feel invited and at home. The food was incredible, and they even provided us with all the recipes at the end! Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful cooking class with Sato, Johnny and Ryushi! The cooking kitchen was clean and organised - a warm, friendly environment. The afternoon was very well organised, allowing time to ensure everything was prepared to perfection. The fish for the sushi was fresh and delicious. Out ramen was also very tasty - the best we had on our 4 week Japan trip. The inclusion of drinks and sake was also a highlight.

Amazing experience in the kitchen learning to make Ramen and Sushi! It felt more like a home kitchen than a classroom atmosphere, like we were visiting friends for dinner. A very warm and inviting setting. Everything flowed very well, with some time in the kitchen making the ramen broth, then making sushi at the table before heading back to the kitchen to prepare the pork and other ingredients for our our bowls of ramen. The staff were very friendly, not only sharing tips for delicious food but also sharing experiences of travel and tips on where to visit in Tokyo.

I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a fun and chill 3 hours while getting to eat some yummy food and trying out some delicious sake. The sushi making portion was easily followed with step by step instructions and excellent visual instructions. The fish was fresh and delicious. Props on the sushi trivia and mini history lesson. Making the shoyu ramen was also fun and smelled so good from the mouth watering prime cut pork belly meat and a savory, shoyu broth. There was so much food, you’ll be full by the end. Nao, Sintaro, and Miyoko were fantastic, patient instructors, and genuinely fun and helpful people. My only recommendation to the owner is that I wish they could also eat with us. ;) Very kind people. Thanks for making our first trip to Japan an exceptional experience!
