Cassowary Coast Art Deco and Historical Self-Guided Walk
Travel down the scenic Cassowary Coast with tons of stops along the way resembling the splash and dash tour, while featuring a special stop at Yiddi Bay to spot wild cassowaries in their natural habitat. Arrive in Mission Beach around 4:00 p.m. and settle into your choice of 3-star, 4-star, or 5-star local accommodation for an overnight stay.

Start the day with a pickup by Myroo Cruises and board a boat at Clump Point Jetty. First stop: Dunk Island, where you can explore the island and enjoy paddleboarding for about an hour. Then head out to the Great Barrier Reef for a guided marine adventure. Enjoy lunch onboard and snorkel at two vibrant reef sites before returning to Clump Point around 4:30 p.m. From there, relax as you’re transferred back to Cairns.

5.00We had a great day and it’s obvious that the guide terry is obsessed with the rainforest. He told us so many interesting things while the vibe was always super chill with much laughter. He involved the whole group and made everybody feeling comfortable. There were a lot off snacks offered and he took heaps of pictures of everybody who wanted to (free Access afterwards what’s pretty cool because normally the companys charge money for it). All in all it was an amazing experience and I can highly recommend. And after some impressions I definitely share terry’s enthusiasm for the rainforest. Our planet is something so beautiful and it does incredible things. We need to protect and appreciate it more. ❤️

5.00I came back to do this tour as it waasn't here the first time I was in Cairns. I enjoyed the english style breakfast. The snorkelling was good but it is not the Great Barrier Reef. I did the half day rafting which was stunning down the Tully river and Max told us some dreamtime stories. I LOVE Josephine falls and I didn't realise Cairns had a castle here either. If you book direct you save a bit too, although I think the Happy Travels had a discount on the skydiving, which I didn't want.
