5.00Really a great tour. Guides were knowledgeable, funny and engaging. We saw lots of crocodiles and other animals. The guides got off the boat and hand feed the crocs which was pretty exciting. We were able to get surprisingly close the crocs as well. Highly recommended.

5.00We really enjoyed this. Our guide’s name was Jesus and the captain/driver of the boat I think was Guido? They were excellent. Jesus was very knowledgeable about all the wildlife we saw- birds, lizards, crocodiles. He told jokes and was funny too/entertaining. The large crocodiles have territories that the guides know where to find them. The feed them in front of you and get them close to the boat for pictures and viewing.

5.00We showed up late to our crocodile tour with a group of 10 (including two little ones and a baby), and the crew could not have been more accommodating. They made sure we didn’t miss out and still gave us an incredible experience. We saw so much wildlife- birds, lizards, and some seriously massive crocodiles. The highlight was watching two crocs actually feeding… such a wild, unforgettable moment. Our tour guide and captain, Jesus & Guido, were amazing—so knowledgeable, funny, engaging, and genuinely cared about making the experience special for us. Highly recommend this tour!

5.00Hands down the best crocodile tour I’ve ever been on. From start to finish, we were never bored—our guides kept the entire experience fun, engaging, and informative the whole time. We saw crocodiles of all sizes, along with so many different birds, lizards, and other wildlife. What really stood out to me was how interactive the tour was. The guides truly went above and beyond, safely engaging with the crocodiles to give us the best possible views and experience—you can tell they know exactly what they’re doing. Huge thank you to our tour guides—they were absolutely awesome and made this experience unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!

5.00Jose Crocodile Tours cannot be missed if visiting the Tarcoles River! Our guide was Sergio and our boat captain was called Isaac and they both worked so hard to ensure we saw as much as we could. Numerous birds, crocodiles and other reptiles were seen, Sergio and Isaac’s skill at spotting wildlife was incredible.

5.00I live in Costa Rica and am lucky enough to go on this Crocodile tour often, with bird watching friends and with "company" when they come to visit us in Costa Rica. And EVERY time I see something different...a bird that I have never seen before, baby crocodiles, a Jesus Christ lizard - "walking" on water. And this particular tour, with two best friends from my high school days (55 year ago), did not disappoint. We love Jesus, the tour guide, and on the 4pm tours you get witness absolutely beautiful sunsets! Jose's Crocodile tour is the best one around!!

5.00Jesus and Isaac were amazing!! Jesus was very personable and professional with great knowledge of the river and wildlife. Isaac was our captain and literally got out and fed and even kissed an enormous croc…. Highly recommend a private, small group as it gives them flexibility for extra’s on the tour. An unexpected highlight!!
