Welcome to Tahiti Safari Islander,
We will go to the heart of the island of Tahiti. You will be able to see beautiful mountains, waterfalls and natural pools.
You can enjoy a beautiful panorama while sitting in a new and comfortable 4x4 open to the sky and equipped with local music in the back. If the weather is nice we will go swimming in the natural pools and if it rains we will be able to appreciate the multitude of waterfalls. We are waiting for you to help you discover this Polynesian treasure.
BE CAREFUL the road is very uneven.
There are 37 km to cover in the mountains. The road is not cemented, not tarred. If you don't feel able to do it, please do another quieter excursion like the tour of the island of Tahiti
To take :
- napkins
- something to swim in
- mosquito repellent,
- Slippers, flip flops (no shoes)
- raincoats
For noon we will stop at a bakery to take food and drink. (Not included).

5.00What an amazing adventure through the mountain of Tahiti. Definitely remember to bring a rain jacket. You will get rained on😂. Our guide was very friendly, funny and knowledgeable of his Tahitian history. Be prepared for lots of pot holes, it’s definitely better to stand on top of the seats. The inner island was just breathe taking. Pictures could never do it justice. This is a must do trip.

5.00Great trip traversing the island following the road “track” which supports the islands hydro electric system. Wonderful views as you travel thru the main tahiti-nui volcanic crater. Good way to see another side of tahiti away from the beaches and populated area. A full day trip well worth doing.

5.00Cool tour in the middle of the island. In open pickup over unpaved side tracks. Nice guide and safe driver (is better so;-)). Recommendation!

5.00This was a very fun excursion. You see the whole center of the island which is really difficult to get to on your own. Our guide was friendly and funny. The ride was super bumpy once you go into the island, so we were standing for about 5h on the truck - a bit exhausting but worth the adventure! There's not really any walking around, so we came in flip flops and light clothing that was okay to get wet (no cover).

5.00Excursion in a beautiful landscape, wild and lush vegetation. A guide who knows his country and its history very well and who knows how to tell them to us. A very friendly atmosphere at the back of the 4x4 where we live to the rhythm of potholes.
