The info on the tour requested we leave the ship and be at the van by 8 am . Of the 16 people on the cruise only 12 were there on time however we ended up waiting for the 4 other folks for 2 hours and finally left the dock for the tour after 10 am. The first part of the tour was interrupted by a city marathon race by the ocean. Block roads meant we missed location to visit. The driver and guide were good though and I would just suggest that if the van is going to wait up to 2 hours for guests that this be clearly stated in the advertisement.

Our tour guide Stephanie was excellent. So was Jorge, our driver. But we had to wait two hours to start the tour. Two families arrived two hours late. The people in the tour didn't speak spanish so I spoke to Stephanie if there was anything they could do. A number started calling my wife's phone and it was Jaime, the owner. He insulted her and didn't let her say two sentences. She was in tears. The trip was ruined. If you book this tour be prepared to wait 2 hours.

Julio was an amazing guide! Excellent information on the area, tailored the tour to adjust for weather, closures (on a Sunday), and suggested additional stops within our timeframe. Needed to get from our cruise to our hotel in Santiago and this was perfect. Highly recommend this tour!

Ours was a half and half. Good and not so good. We waited over an hour to meet our tour. We had been told 7:30 , then our ticket said 8:00 and we later realized an email was sent that morning that moved the time to 8:30. Not good communication. But we connected and went on our way. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. However her itinerary kept changing what we were doing, when we were doing it and where exactly we were going. It felt a little disconnected. She left us during lunch and left for quite awhile leaving us to hang around the restaurant and waterfront for her to return. Overall we enjoyed the day, were delivered to our hotel and had a nice time. But there were times we were not sure all would be well. Not the most professionally organized tour, but maybe they are in a transitional period. I am sure with more experience it will improve.

We are a group of older ladies and various mobility issues. We were to walk down a few stairs and take the funicular. The first one was closed. The required us to walk more stairs and on uneven pavement and cobblestones to another Funicular that was closed due to low energy. This required more stairs and uneven pavement and cobblestones. One of our ladies missed the entire tour (sat with the driver) and the rest of us were having lots of issues with the walking surfaces. The tour guide, Sofi, was kind, but we didn't get much information. As we passed one large home that was turned into a museum, Sofi barely mentioned it. There was another guide with a group and he was telling them about the original owner and how/why it became a museum. Sofi talked about some of the area when we first began our descent, but after the second closed Funicular, didn't add a lot to what we were seeing.
