Godafoss
Our journey takes us along Eyjafjörður, one of Iceland's longest fjords, to our first destination, the Goðafoss waterfall, which holds great significance in Iceland's history. If we are fortunate, we may witness a rainbow and our guide will provide guidance on capturing the best photos.
Laufas Heritage Site and Museum
We will visit the unique Laufás museum and journey into Iceland’s past to see how Icelanders lived in turf houses many years ago. The oldest remaining part of the house dates back to 1840, and Laufás was generally considered a wealthy farm by Icelandic standards. You will have the opportunity to look inside and experience history firsthand.

5.00Amazing experience and excursion. Our guide was very nice, he is the owner of the company. Everything is well organized, before the excursion it was easy to contact and discuss all the details that interested us. There was enough time to enjoy without rush. Great price, much cheaper than on a cruise ship. We were very impressed. We recommend Fox Adventure.

5.00Great tour of the Norwegian countryside with a local resident. Our guide was the owner of the company. He’s lived his whole life in the area so knows it well. He is a small business owner. The places we went to were interesting. A nice walk to a waterfall, a visit to the turf houses and then to the thermal baths. We also had a very interesting stop inside the tunnel that goes through the mountain. We were back to the cruise ship in plenty of time for departure.

5.00This was a wonderful tour. The tour operator responded promptly to our inquiry regarding meeting location. Our tour guide was friendly and full of information. She chattered the entire time to each location with wonderful information and cute stories. Our driver was very skilled driving the winding roads. The falls were easily accessible and a MUST SEE. Absolutely gorgeious. We enjoyed the visit to the Tuff houses and seeing the history of the local area. The Forest Bath house was wonderful. They rent bathing suits & towels if you forget (which my suit was left in our room!). Glad I was able to participate because we had already paid for the entrance fee and we realized when we arrived my suit was missing.

5.00What a great day! Our guide was amazing - so knowledgable and engaging! We loved everything we saw and did. And the Forest baths at the end were soooo much fun and beautiful. And who doesnt appreciate a swim up bar. Try a “Sarti” spritz!

5.00Goddafoss Falls a must do in Akeuryri . Bucket list ticked! The Turf Houses were also very interesting and we ended up in the Forest Lagoon for a lovely soak in the warm thermal water. Badhur from Fox Adventure was a great guide and driver!
Fox Adventures and Baldur are the way to see Akureyri!

5.00Baldur, our expert guide, was an amazing person to show us his town. We got local insight into all things Icelandic including which farmers were his friends, were selling their farms, etc. He was very genuine, kind and funny and a great guide. We started at the Goddafoss waterfall, slowed in the road to see Icelandic horses up close, got an inside tour at the tunnel where we were able to FEEL the hot springs coursing through, went to the turf houses and ended at the lovely Forrest Lagoon. Such an adventure! Note that the Forrest Lagoon tickets were not included and we had to pay for those in addition to what we already paid for the tour (it's in the exclusions section). We plan to go back to Iceland soon and if we are in Akureyri again we will absolutely ask Baldur and Fox Adventures to be our tour guides again on a slightly different adventure! Highly recommend!
