Cu Chi Tunnels
07:30: Tour guide will pick you up at your hotel. Depart for Cu Chi Tunnels, which is just 60 kilometers far away from the city center. Arrive at Cu Chi Tunnels gate - land of steel, you will discover a lot of things about the art of people’s war: - The weapons that were used by The National Liberation Front of South Vietnam in the war, including hand-made guns. - Watch the documentary about the tunnel system and the people’s war. - Learn about the tunnel system structure. - Witness many kinds of Vietnam war era deadly TRAPS which were used by The National Liberation Front of South Vietnam (VC) & how it worked. - Get into the tunnels, experience as a VC soldier. Visit B52 bomb hole - Weapon Workshop, VC Soldier combat sandals Workshop (Dép Râu). - Experience Vietnam war’s era real gun fire (personal fee - buy at least 10 bullets) - Taste the cassava roots, which were widely eaten by the VC, try jasmine tea.
Mekong Delta
After Cu Chi Tunnels, we go ahead to Mekong Delta and have lunch on the way at a local restaurant. Embark a boat to visit floating fishing villages along Tien River. - Arrive at Thoi Son Islet (Lan Islet), Visit the orchard and learn about the process of producing and gathering honey bees. You can harvest fruit directly from the garden (at your own expense). - The tram brings you to Thoi Son village, where you may taste seasonal fruits and listen to Southern traditional music. - Row a sampan along a little canal lined with two rows of beautiful water coconuts on the banks. - Visit the facility that makes coconut sweets and rice paper... - Return to the boat, enjoy local coconut. Return to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive at Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon.

4.00My favorite part is rowing a three cornered boat down the small canal, with lush green water coconut trees on both sides. There is no engine noise, only the sound of the paddle and the birds. The scenery is like a painting, yet very ordinary. On the boat, you can also drink fresh coconut water, which is refreshing. If you need a day to "escape the city", then the Mekong Delta part of this tour is a very reasonable choice

4.00Lunch at the local restaurant isn't fancy, but the food is truly delicious. Braised fish, sour soup, boiled vegetables, flavorful and authentically Southern. After that, we enjoyed boiled cassava and jasmine tea, a wartime dish that's still very easy to eat. I like tours like that, not flashy, but full of genuine experiences. One day of traveling feels like living in Vietnam for months

5.00I once thought that war was purely about suffering, but in Cu Chi, I witnessed both creativity and resilience. From the tire sandals to the homemade weapons, everything was crafted by the locals to fight. There are workshops for making tire sandals, b52 bomb craters, and stories that genuinely moved me. This tour is not just for sightseeing, it is also a vivid lesson in history.

5.00At first, I was a bit worried because I heard that the Cu Chi tunnels were cramped and hot, but once I crawled in, the feeling was... indescribable. It was both thrilling and curious. I even got to watch a documentary film, which clearly showed how people lived and fought underground. Especially those wartime traps, both clever and terrifying.

5.00Really loved this tour! Our tour guide was an amazing guide, telling great stories about the Vietnam War. I felt safe crawling through the narrow tunnel experience. And especially getting to go boating on Thoi Son Islet, listening to Don Ca Tai Tu and enjoying fresh coconut water. An unforgettable experience, highly recommended!

5.00An amazing guide made our Cu Chi Tunnels trip come alive. He explained everything about the Vietnam War clearly in English. Afterwards, we got to go boating on Thoi Son Islet, exploring the fruit orchards. Seeing how soldiers lived in the tunnels through the tunnel experience was truly eye-opening.

5.00Visiting Cu Chi Tunnels was a great experience to learn about the Vietnam War. I especially liked trying the tunnel experience and visiting the shooting range. Then, the scenery completely changed as I got to go boating on Thoi Son Islet, so peaceful, truly contrasting yet very interesting. Our tour guide explained everything very thoroughly.
