Definitely recommend this tour! It’s a full-day experience, around 11–12 hours, so be prepared for a long but rewarding day. Communication was excellent — the team confirmed our pickup time the day before, and our guide, Honda, called about 10 minutes before arriving to ensure everything went smoothly. The day started with Honda sharing fascinating insights about the war tunnels and the hardships local communities faced during the American/Vietnam War — it was incredibly informative and eye-opening. The tunnels themselves were very impressive. After exploring the tunnels, we enjoyed a delicious lunch and then visited Unicorn Island, which was beautiful. We got to experience local village life and sample traditional honey, sweets, and other local foods. One note: I wouldn’t recommend bringing babies or very young children on this tour. It’s a long car journey and can be quite hot during the day, which makes it uncomfortable for parents and potentially disruptive for other travellers. Overall, it was a fantastic tour — well-organized, educational, and full of memorable experiences.

Lam was an amazing guide and brought joy to the trip. Despite this trip being a long day, Lam was a bright light that kept the group energized (down to well timed music/playlists on the ride)!

This is a fantastic trip and the Cu Chi tunnels are a must see when you’re visiting Ho Chi Minh City. Our guide, Lam, was brilliant. He was able to share information in an engaging and interesting way that brought to life the experience in the Cu Chi Tunnels. He also shared some personal experiences of his family which gave a wonderful insight into the impacts of the war. Lam is a great tour guide and always very conscientious about looking after the group and checking their understanding.

Such a fun informational tour! Lam was great at explaining each event and background knowledge necessary to enjoy the events. We went bananas on our ride home after the spontaneous mini karaoke showcase!

Our experience on this tour was generally good. The tour broken up into two tours the first being Cu Chi Tunnels. Tony our guide was so very passionate about the Vietnam War and his people. He explained the happenings well and even gave an insight into how it has affected the Vietnamese people today. The second part of the your was a little disappointing. Little interaction from Tony, no information or contact with us for the entire drive from Chu Chi to Meekong and the same with our return to Ho Chi Minh. We also felt the communication during the entire time at the Meekong shifted and our purpose for being at the Meekong was a process in order to give tips. Overall a good tour. Just a little disappointed with the guided part of the Meekong.
