Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta One Day is a small group tour that allows you to avoid the crowded touristy bus. Group size max of 12 passengers. We will pick-up at your hotel in districts 1, 3, and 4.

- Explore the Cu Chi Tunnels' underground system.

- Mekong River motorboat and rowing boat rides

- Take a tour of a coconut candy factory and sip honey tea on a bee farm.

- Listen to Vietnamese traditional folk music, visit the fruit garden, and taste tropical fruit.

Cu Chi Tunnels

We’ll pick you up at your Ho Chi Minh City hotel in the early morning, and you’ll travel with your English-speaking guide to the Cu Chi tunnels. The drive is around 60 km. At Cu Chi, you’ll be shown a documentary film about the tunnels and learn how the locals made bamboo traps, rice paper, and rice wine. You’ll then have the opportunity to explore the web of underground tunnels dug by Vietnamese resistance fighters.

My Tho

After exploring the tunnels, we’ll drive to My Tho. This is one of the provinces that comprise the Mekong Delta area. We’ll cruise by boat along the upper Mekong through a region with islands named after 4 animals that appear in Buddhist writings – Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Turtle. On this part of the tour, you’ll observe some of the activities of regional Vietnamese daily life and appreciate how life here depends on the River. We’ll then take you on a trip by rowboat along the small waterways. You’ll see the agricultural richness of the delta region in its fruit orchards, coconut groves, and bee-keeping farms. We’ll stop so you can enjoy honey tea, seasonal fruit, fresh coconut candy, and southern Vietnamese folk music. At the end of our tour, we’ll drive back to Ho Chi Minh City and drop you off at your hotel at around 18:00.

The tour was the best highlight of our stay in Ho Chi Minh. We were able to discover so many interesting things, see beautiful places and try local food and beverages. This was possible thanks to our great guide Tony who was always kind, smiling and extremely helpful. He's the best! Definitely recommended!

The tour was great and very informative. Our guide Tony (Tue) was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of interesting facts about the places we visited and the history of Vietnam. He was friendly, patient, and always happy to answer our questions in detail. You could really tell that he is passionate about sharing Vietnam’s culture and history, which made the whole experience even more engaging. The itinerary was well organized, the timing was perfect, and we never felt rushed at any stop. We especially appreciated the local insights and stories that you wouldn’t find in a guidebook. It made the experience feel authentic and personal rather than just a standard tour.

We had a great time on this tour. The Tunnels are very unique and it was a great history lesson over. Everything is included/taken care of and our guide Tony did an amazing job at taking us around and answering any questions we had. I would highly recommend this tour and Tony in particular!

Tony was a great host. Like a little librarian man with lots of knowledge haha - Lots of experiences were included too that were quite nice. The food at the tunnels was very good and quite filling. Pretty good value for 33usd! Comfy seats on the bus. Tunnels were tough but also there was a lot of education behind it. They provide water. You'll have to tip people here and there but its a 2 dollar tip at max.

Tour guide and the driver were fantastic. Sam was a great guy took lots of pictures and spent some time with us explaining everything in great detail. The driver was clean on time. The vehicle was spotless. Plenty of water very hot outside great experience so are things I’ve never seen before. Would definitely do it again. Highly recommend recommended.

This is a must-do tour when you are in HCMC. The places you visit are incredible. The history of a country, and the stories of its people. The river part of the tour was also great. Our guide, Xem, was very friendly, always smilling, and answering all of our questions. As a con... it's a super crowded place. There's not enough space for so many tourists.
